College Prof: Gun Owners ‘Not A Protected Group’

I don't think I can even post an excerpt of this story on FR. The gist is that a kook professor is positing on Holmes' show that if an open carry group enters a restaurant, the patrons should (among other things) exit en masse without paying.

Alan Colmes' site, which is carrying the story, has a ridiculous scheme (with all the handwringing you'd expect) to extract at least $10 from anyone who wants to excerpt. I would bet that there are people who actually pay to excerpt! Times must be hard in Liberaland.
If you don't want to give Alan Colmes the clicks, the stupidity repeats over here. I think this particular stupidity is done for effect... maybe they're able to convince Colmes' advertiser that more people are watching.
The logic is laughable and idiotically twisted, but we ignore these morons at our peril.

These radical liberal college professors and their influence in the last 50 years is why this country is so messed up at the present. Their failures need to be pointed out to them and then told to STFU while we clean up their mess.

If people started to do that, restaurants would go as most gas stations have done and require people to prepay.

Sometimes I think College Professors have no understanding of ordinary life outside their ivory tower.
Imagine a world where there was no such thing as College Security.
None at all. No guards, armed or otherwise. Police at least 30 minutes away.
That's how most of us live.
I bet that college professor would prefer to have a sidearm under those circumstances.

Colmes absolutely creeps me out. He looks like he has been dead for 3 - 4 weeks. Every time FOX has him on, the channel changes.

Don’t take it too seriously, it’s only a college professor and they all wear loafers because they can’t even tie their shoes ... look at His Arrogance, a perfect example.

Perhaps “the open carry group” should enter a restaurant that has the little “no guns” signs in the window and see if all the diners will get up and skip the check.
If the restaurant management blames “the open carry group” instead of University of North Dakota Professor Jack Russell Weinstein they should apologize and leave quietly.
Repeat as often as little signs in windows are discovered.

College professors are not a protected class either so they might want to think about that before they choose to speak in the future.

Just what does a professor think constitutes a “protected group”? Is that a group with extra special rights no one else has? And exactly how is that constitutional? If my government has given others special rights over me, why would I care about such a government?
