The decision by Sen. John Walsh (D-Mont.) not to seek election in November in the wake of a plagiarism scandal is the latest piece of good news for Republicans as they strive to take control of the Senate in less than three months.

Takeover schmakeover. We still need at least 67 to stop this headlong slide into political oblivion.

This is a growing consensus. I hope the campaign contributors take notice.

Incidentally, we need more than victory this November. This nation needs a Republican landslide on the scale of 1958, especially with regard to the U.S. Senate.

When the Post writes it, it’s to inflame the base and get the wheels are UniteBlue, MoveOn and the Unions to start voting in GOP primaries, vote multiple times, vote with illegals and fix more local elections...

This is the dog-whistle of all the pro-Communist Democratic mechanics to start hustling.

There was a day this headline would cause me joy. Today it actually scares me as much as it comforts me.

Imagine what a Romney White House could accomplish with a Republican Senate and Congress.

I don’t even want to think about it.

Lord, give me strength.

As one dog said to the other “Ok, you caught the car. Now what do you do with it?”

Make sure you have a plan!

“Republican Takeover of Senate”

Code words that set in motion the machinery that creates wins out of thin air through the use of multiple voting, cemetery occupant registrations and the convenient loss of military ballots.

IMHO

This would be good news, if the Republicans differed from the Collectivists.

Won’t happen. We just MAY get the Senate with RINOs and then lose 7-10 Seats in 2016. Pyrrhic victory at best.

Indeed. Romney would have had Republican backing to implement his very own version of O-care. They cry would have been “mend it, don’t end it”

Total amnesty would have already passed, too

Yes, and we need 67 Constitutional Conservatives, not 57 RINOS and 10 Constitutionalists.

What’s the old saying about not counting your chickens?

The GOP had better wake up because they’re turning off a lot of conservative voters.

The country needs 100 years of such victories to get out of the 100 years of damage. Slim left town.
