This is a great movie - and hilarious too. Oh, how I twist myself into a pretzel as William Demerest and his fellow soldiers dig Eddie Bracken’s grave ever more deeper as the movie goes on! And the nutty mother-loving obsessed nutcase soldier!

I watched “2000 Women,” also from 1944, this week. It is streaming on Netflix.

I can’t find it on Netflix or I would add it to my queue. According to imdb.com it was released in UK 6 Nov. 44 but not in the U.S. until 1951.
