WASHINGTON — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday the war in Iraq is "lost," triggering an angry backlash by Republicans, who said the top Democrat had turned his back on the troops. The bleak assessment - the most pointed yet from Reid - came as the House voted 215-199 to uphold legislation ordering troops out of Iraq next year.

"I believe myself that the secretary of state, secretary of defense and - you have to make your own decisions as to what the president knows - (know) this war is lost and the surge is not accomplishing anything as indicated by the extreme violence in Iraq yesterday," said Reid, D-Nev.

Just like Viet-Nam, Iraq was not our responsibility to save.

The majority in both countries did not want us to interfere in their business in the first place.

If you don’t believe me, get your child, cousin, father, mother, uncle, or any family member to go over there and die for absolutely NOTHING! You will find out they died for NOTHING!

Let these backward barbarians stew in their own rotting flesh.

I’ve had it with us being the Nanny Country that serves only big international business interests by the blood of our men and women.

If it was good enough for Scary Reid to pronounce the war as lost then, by golly it’s good enough for him to say the same thing now! C’mon Hairy, do an encore.

At the time, I strongly supported removing Saddam because he was a direct threat to our national security. And since, I’ve learned my lesson on “nation building” in a 7th century he— hole.

We’re back to square one if the ISIS threat to America is real. Do we destroy the threat or take our chances? I honestly don’t know.

The threat is already here at home and it’s being protected and nurtured by Political Correctness and laws against the free people to discriminate between friends and enemy.

The liberals and “Benedict Arnold’ Republicans are so afraid of anything that smells of discrimination that they have destroyed the differences between friend or foe.

We have sold (and soiled) the history and heritage of our nation in the name of DIVERSITY.

Note to Sen. Reid - the Iraq War wasn’t lost by soldiers in the field but the lack of political will to keep the peace. No effort was put on the Iraqi government to retain a coalition government. So, Mr. Reid how does that set with you.
