Wonder what Ann thought of Mother Teresa?

I’m just grateful that America has stayed on the straight and narrow path Christ outlined.

Otherwise we might actually have to consider the question Coulter raised.

She may have a point. Our inner cities might be places where missionary services are needed.

In this specific case Ann made the point that no matter his good intentions...the net effect of his short mission trip was that his personal medical condition wound up costing millions of dollars.

Of course they may make up lots of that cost if his case leads to better medical treatments and lessens the fear surrounding this disease.

“Sister wife” Ann Coulter has had the hots for Bishop Romney for at least 7 years.

Bishop Romney served as a foreign missionary in Bordeaux France, his father George, was a missionary in London, Mitt’s five sons were ALL foreign missionaries, serving in Bordeaux France, Leeds England, Australia, Santiago Chile, and Paris France.

As a Conservative, I have several problems with Ann Coulter and do NOT see her as holding high moral ground.

She needs our prayers.

You are entitled to your opinion, although it reflects a very stilted understanding of Christian missions.

“Amber Brantly visited her husband along with their daughter in Liberia, but Frieden said on “Face the Nation” that “that they did not have contact with him when he was sick, so it does not appear that they would be at risk.”

Whoah!

This guy has a wife and a child?
Ok Now I see a photo of him. This is a job for a retired doctor, or one whose family is either well taken care of or otherwise very independent. NOT a 33 year old man with a family.

It’s starting to get very weird, now.

And he brought them to Africa?

Ann Coulter is wrong sometimes, of course.

Her article, which I just now read, adds to some of the things I have been thinking.

It seems that every point she makes is logically valid.

Decisions should not be made purely on economical grounds....but rather on moral principles.

The doctor was the director of an Ebola clinic.

The CDC planned clinic these two Ebola warriors on the front lines came home to, for treatment, was especially designed for this.

“”Emory University Hospital has a special isolation unit, called a Serious Communicable Disease Unit, that was set up in collaboration with the CDC to house CDC scientists and others who have traveled abroad and become exposed to infectious diseases. This unit has unique equipment and infrastructure that provides an extraordinarily high level of clinical isolation with very different capabilities than are normally provided to isolate patients in other hospitals. It is one of only four such facilities in the country.””

That is truly pathetic. Stein - the perennial loser of elections throughout the 1970s - is old enough to be her great grandfather.

I see him with Maclaine at B’way shows, sometimes. He still wears the wig.

Not to mention all the people he has probably saved before this Ebola outbreak probably outnumber those that will die in this outbreak. Things that kill more than Ebola ever will, and doctors and medical technicians can help with, like simple cases of dysentery.

She seems to have a number of liberals in her history.
Maybe she’s angling for that ‘James Carville/Mary Matalin’ thingy...............

Lighten up, Janice. Ann has a point.

I agree. The charity had to spend almost 2 million dollars to bring these two back to the states for treatment. That money could have paid for a lot of treatments for sick people. It also put people here in the US at a slight risk of contracting the disease. Who gives them the right to put my family at risk?

The last few times MM was seen on TV hawking their book, she looked and acted like she was so strung out, high on something...even at 7:00 in the morning (appearance on the Imus show). Seriously in a very bad way!
