my nerves were eased by a woman who introduced herself as “Krenny.”

Maybe the makers of 'Breaking Bad' could use that:

"Krenny and Charlie" -- Those crazy kids from the Haight Ashbury are back and rocking in SoCal!.....

And no, I am not serious. let her rot for another 45 years.

I was never a gun owner, but that book and crime changed my thinking after. At the Tate house, 5 people were butchered as cruelly and as brutally possible. 3 of the victims were grown men...3 dogs were on the property, yet no one survived. That’s why i carry a Glock 19 to this day...that will never happen at any house that i am at...god, if only 1 person were armed that night...terrible.

Yes, absolutely! Consider Richard Speck, who murdered eight student nurses, one at a time, in their townhouse. Speck was armed only with a knife. None of his victims was armed.

Speck's crime should make every liberal gun-grabber think, then vomit.

Whatever one might otherwise think of what she did in 1969, in my opinion, this is a truly penitent heart. I don’t know what justice might dictate for her future, but my hope is that she has and will turn her life to be dedicated to good. From what I can tell, she just might do it.

I agree having seen her interview a few years ago, she is not the same person. With Patricia, I do believe she is remorseful yet she acknowledge she may never get out. She accepts her fate. Looks like she is doing something positive being in prison. Charlie is the one who deserve to be put to death and he does not regret one bit about the murders. Now as for Susan Atkins, not sure only God knows if she repented when she died of Brain Cancer, but I do know this I bet Susan now knows what is like to beg for your life. Susan wanted to leave prison and go home to die but was denied.

I agree, Patricia must never be let out, having seen the crime scene photo myself. The Patricia of August of 1969 is not the same Patricia of 2014.

She might have changed, might even have truly repented but she is the same person who did it.

Nothing she was involved with was a mistake.

*She willingly sought out a commune
*Willingly took drugs
*Willingly participated in orgies
*Willingly ran around with Manson doing ‘creepy crawlies’ (breaking into homes and messing around with furniture settings)
*Willingly went driving around with Manson
*Willingly testified pro-Manson
*Willingly disrupted the courtroom with her demented chants
*Willingly decided to refuse a plea-bargain with the prosecutor
*Willingly stabbed a dead woman dozens of times

She had her chances and made her choices.

People leading productive lives, even the silliest hippies, don’t do the stuff she did. She isn’t someone who ended up wanting to lead a more normal life and had regrets. She could have worked with the prosecution, but she ended up refusing, rebellious to the last. Frankly, she had her one last chance at a good life, but blew it, like she did with so many other chances.

I’ll be honest, I think the only reason she does productive things is because she is in prison. If she were not, who knows if whether or not she would be out doing the same, or worse. She’s a model prisoner because she has prison guards who will gladly kick her to the wall if she acts out. She is the type that probably cannot function in normal society.

Can't claim that I know what she'd be doing... But I'm pretty sure I know for whom she'd be voting.

My sister lived in the same commune in Northern Vermont as Linda Kasabian for several years back in the Seventies.

She, and others of the Manson clan, have lived long enough on tax payers money, they should all have been sentenced to death for their deeds.

Killing seven innocents? There is no coming back from that.

Well stated. Taking a life is something that shouldn’t earn a “ well they are
sorry now “ award

NO! Some one post the parole hearing notice. ALL homicide victims will be willing to write letters of protest. Here is one you can help with. Nikki’s mom is my friend, her boys played with my boys as children, they are adults now with kids of their own. Nikki was a sweet and nice little girl of 8 years old. Imagine if she were your daughter or niece? Put yourself in her mom’s shoes waiting 24 almost 25 yrs for justice to be carried out, and the man in the governors chair is a stinking RINO.

Ashley Nichole ‘Nikki’ Read, age 8, RAPED and KILLED by david keen. 24 yrs ago. He has been on TN Death Row for 20 yrs. ALL State and Federal Appeals are run out. Yet TN Gov Bill Halsam (RINO) refuses to set an execution date or sign the exectution warrant.

Nickki was raped, strangled with her own Shoelaces, and thrown in the river still alive, where she finally drown to death. 24 Yrs of waiting for Justisce, is obscene.

Tell TN Governor to do his Constitutional Duty, that 2 juries decided was the right course of action. Death Penalty.
