Rand Paul’s poem about Alison Grimes: “There once was a woman from Kentucky”
Mofo Politics ^

Posted on 08/02/2014 8:12:41 PM PDT by ObamahatesPACoal

Speaking at the 134th Annual Fancy Farm Picnic, Saturday…

There once was a woman from Kentucky

Who thought in politics, she’d be lucky

So she flew to LA for a Hollywood bash

She came home in a flash, with a bucket of cash

To liberals she whispers ‘coal makes you sick’

In Kentucky she claims, ‘coal makes us tick’

Rand, Conway, Jesse Benton, Mitch and Grimes all in the same room. So many villains.

If you believe Grimes winning would be good for the USA, ....

Never mind.

srsly? you would srsly flip a senate seat because he’s not “pure” enough for you?

a vote for grimes is a vote for harry reid as senate majority leader. if that is what you are saying, you should be required to explain why.

McConnell is not only not pure he has no principles and is an incompetent senate leader. Sometimes one must sacrifice these types of Republicans for the greater good.

Mitch is not only not "pure", he is useless as a leader and is outspokenly against ~0.5 of the GOP electorate.

What will Mitch do as Senate Leader to benefit the country from 2015 to 2017 (when the 'rats are likely to regain the Senate)?

One thing we know is guaranteed

She’d cast her first vote for Harry Reid

Rand got that one right.

That is their explanation, it’s much of the reason we have Obama instead of Romney. If a republican who is mostly fiscally conservative, has common sense ideas and solutions, but doesn’t want to tackle social issues that they are against, then they won’t vote for them. It’s a common trend, and it’s disgusting. You’re not going to find a perfect politician, especially in America. Therefore, we get politicians that wouldn’t even be hired as a manager at a McDonald’s, or able to open and run a small business successfully trying to manage a country. Besides that, these people are reacting very poorly to international and domestic issues. These politicians that we are cursed with live in a fantasy world. Voting for someone that cannot win is essentially a vote for these people that I would not trust to walk a dog, or serve me food.

But too bad, not good enough for me, well I WANT OBAMA! It’s sickening.

it’s insane to advocate the sacrifice of a perfectly winnable senate seat because he doesn’t meet your personal definition of “conservative”.

What is the benefit of having Mitch as Senate leader in the next two years?

I can see that having Ted Cruz as House Speaker during that time could work wonders compared to what Mitch would possibly do.

Mitch McConnell has declared war on the TEA Party, he has declared his intention to see that conservative candidates are defunded and groups that donate to them are scrutinized and ostracised by the GOPe.

I wouldn’t advocate that people vote Democrat. I also would never expect anyone to cast a vote for McConnell.
