And they could only win 3.

Please, please, please let it be so. To see Harry Reid ousted as Majority Leader would be all I want for Christmas.

My guess is we pick up 7 seats, and Hairy Reed is sent to the corner wearing a dunce cap until he retires.

After the projected Romney landslide, I know that we just have to wait to see what really happens.

Ten seats, or no seats, it won’t matter. Howard Henry Baker, Jr., failed with 57 or 58 senators in 1981-1984.

The GOPe has absolutely no problem, and great experience in snatching defeat from the jaws of victory...

I fully expect the GOP to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I know the Republican Party has often fallen short of adhering to its precepts but it’s disheartening that the Demonrat Party (the new Communist party complete with dictator)is held in higher esteem by the great unwashed.

Hey, I hate the Republican Party too. I’m not sure the WSJ gets this. I hate a lot of the WSJ too, they’ve been a big open border pusher.

Be cautious.
Romney seemed to be winning in 2012 until the BIG Christie hug of Obama.
Elections can turn on a dime, based on current events.
Then, there was the Republican take over of the Senate that was projected for 2012 — and didn’t materialize.

Doesn't matter. Republican does not equal conservative.
If by some miracle the Republicans do take control of the senate, they could lie down to the Obama administration just like the House.
To: cotton1706
And turn around and lose 5 or 6 in 2016. Either way I don’t have a lot of faith in their doing anything with the Senate even if they get it.
To: cotton1706
Yeah right. With leaders like McConnell and Cornyn betraying voters and pushing amnesty, I doubt we’ll win more than a couple.
