The number of people without a job in France rose in June to a new record.

The Labour Ministry said the unemployment total in mainland France rose by 9,400 to 3,398,300.

That is a 4.0 percent increase on June last year and up 0.3 percent from May.

It is another blow to Socialist President Francois Hollande.

There is a swelling traditionalist right wing movement in France started under the slogan ‘revolt against the 68ers’. This is why the recent riots of fag marriage were overwhelmingly young people. I expect that they will hand the next election to the right, and France may change dramatically as a result.

The 68ers have destroyed the society and the economy. They’ll be lucky not to get lynched.

I thought that socialism meant 100% employment for every able bodied person. Who knew that it would destroy jobs and encourage people to live on the public dole? (That would be every conservative in the world.)

even we the US are losing the economic war to countries with a higher tolerance for old fashioned doing the not-so-fun jobs; if not well, then at least consistently.

when we in the US have enough motivated to do those jobs we might make stuff here again.. or we could go Smoot-Hawley on them.

What is their total unemployment rate (U-6 equivalent) in France?

I did some checking and I can’t find anything that makes sense. Some numbers I see say about 40% and then others say about 4%. What is the real number?
