JA is lazy - he will take the cherry pick if they serve it to him. I don’t see the confidence or technical skill in him right now. He is better suited for mls.

The Women's World Cup is next year. LOVE THIS SPORT!

I confess I watched a lot of the World Cup games (then again, I watch televised golf too). However, the only thing more boring than soccer is women's soccer.

Every man, woman, and child in Germany will wake up tomorrow beaming with pride for their country.

And they should do so.

However.... Talking to an Italian friend back during the group play stage, she said that the Italian team is one of the few things that brings all Italians together. I think that's true of France, Germany, England etc and their national teams. And I think that is because of multiculturism and shame of their heritages and pasts (not like Germany can celebrate Nazism and conquering, however briefly, almost all of Europe).

The only good thing about the Communists in Poland, was at least they had good soccer teams. They should have won the Cup in 74.

One of the players on either Costa Rica or Colombia (can't remember which) had as a first name Boniek.

Of course I totally agree with your amplification on my point. Perhaps the day will come with all the multiculturalism and shame heaped on our country by the Left that we once again find that same nationalistic pride felt by the World Cup nations.

Hopefully the unintended consequences of OweBowMao are just that.
