No, they're little Barack Obamas.

No doubt California is among the least patriotic but the methodology to make these determinations is pretty flawed

If you take out Hollywood and SF, California is the most patriotic.

The data set is incomplete.

They only show 50 states.

Obama spends more time fundraising in CA than any other state. What a coincidence!

Six of the top ten are part of the Old Confederacy. And the bottom five are five of the most Democrat states in the country.

I suspect California has some of the most patriotic Americans in the country .... along with a great number of the least, including hundreds of thousands who cheer for Mexico but accept USA EBT, AFDC, Section 8 housing, etc. etc. etc. and burn Old Glory.
Kick them all out. Then a five year moratorium on all new immigrants, fake and real.
Build an Israeli wall, man it adequately, and then we can start talking about “reform” and war with Mexico, in whatever order/

Here are the criteria for the ranking:

National Historic Landmarks per Capita
Veterans per Capita
Money Spent to Fund Veterans
Percent of Residents That Voted in the Last Presidential Election
People Who Google For American Flags to buy
People Who List America as an Interest on Facebook

I guess I’m not patriotic. I don’t go anywhere near Facebook.

California is the most patriotic state in the union.

Why? Because California pays more in federal taxes than any other state.

That means we prop up your failed states as well as support our huge welfare roles (comprising mostly loser American transplants from your failed states).

For the math-challenged among you, since you don’t have Cal Tech and we do, that also means we pay more to the military than any of the rest of you to defend this country.

And we do it without a word of thanks, ever. And we still want to stay in the union, even though every other post on FR is “GIVE CALIFORNIA BACK TO MEXICO!” (Which, by the way, also directed at the math-challenged, you might want to think about how cutting off California to spite your own loser face will impact your wallets.)

It definitely has to be Texas. I saw a fireworks show in Burleson last night, and there must’ve been 5-6 other fireworks shows you could see on the horizon.

If you could separate Florida into the Panhandle and South Florida., the Panhandle would rank much higher. Plus we have some very good military bases here: Pensacola NAS, Eglin AFB, Tyndall AFB (original home of the F-22 Raptors), Navy Coastal Systems Station, etc.
Most military retirees have made this their permanent home.
You don’t bad-mouth the USA around here and get by with it unless you’re ALONE and nobody (and nobody’s dog) hears you!
