Fees raised to $5.60 each way; up from $2.50.
...
the changes will hurt people in smaller cities who must take more one-way flights to get where they're going.

proud not to have flown since 11/2001.
Must be to fund their bonuses....
Fees increased accordingly.
Blackwater would know who the terrorists are without groping Grandma.
Union yes.
So it’s just another tax increase that will allow the parasites in Versailles on the Potomac to spend more. And TSA will never see a dime of it. And the deficit won’t be reduced by a dime either.
More evidence of the “low inflation” economy the Federal Reserve and Obama’s economic policies have produced.
Obama is punishing us for something. Using the TSA to harass Americans is a Soetoro MO..
What’s so strange about this?
It’s typical: First a low cost government program. Then a small increase in cost. Later another larger increase in cost.
Then it starts to feed upon itself and within a very short period of time you have a giant bloated government program that feeds off of the taxpayers without any restraints for the rest of time.
My tagline still stands true!
Thankfully my local airport has announced it is cancelling all TSA services and hiring a private contractor - starts Sept. 1st.
C-ya TSA!
BTW, our airport is BZN - stop by and say HI sometime!
TSA needs to go. If we can pull troops out of Iraq, we can pull the TSA out of airports.
I’m sure they already don’t thing that more than DOUBLING the fees will be enough. HTF are they operating now if they have less than “half the money they need”?
We are past ridiculous and into pure tyranny.
My official policy has become no mercy, no charity, no feelings of good will based on the presumption that extending these things is merited. I’m sick of the whole lot.
