I think that is the point of the this article, to encourage a third party run by Rand Paul. I have noticed that News Max seems to support Rand Paul.

Actually, I think that Rand Paul should run as a Democrat, against Hillary. He closer to the liberal Democrats (as opposed to Progressive Democrats) than he is to conservative Republicans.

Like Pollutico wants a Republican President.

No, they don't. That's why they're so eager for Romney to run again.

Romney has too much money and too little pride.

Romney is a sure loser. The left loves the idea of a re-run. They will also try to push Christie and Jeb.

Why? So that we can have Hillary in the white house?

Is there anything Mitt could say, do, deny or affirm that would cause you to give him another listen, or is that bridge forever burned? I sort of feel that way about Christie, because he disappointed many of us when we thought he could have helped our 11th hour momentum. I would have to wait and see who else was ‘on the bench’ before I considered Christie again.

I actually think Willard may run. Ann Romney has said no but I’ll bet he wears her down. He is convinced the election was stolen in 2012 and it probably was. Even Bill Clinton said he thought Romney was going to win. Mitt wants another bite at the apple. So what is that going to do to Ted Cruz and Rick Perry? They are the only two guys that spark any interest in me.

More likely Politico wants a Republican nominee who would lose in the post-Obama dispirited condition of the Democrat party.

2012? I’m still wondering if he will run in 2008.

There will plenty of Rino’s running for 2016, it will be boring and much like the 2012.

Unless we get some good people running, like Cruz, West, Palin, then we will have something to cheer about.

I can’t wait to see Cruz debate these Rino’s, that’s going to be exiting, he knows more about everything, than all the Rino’s combined.

We will almost surely have several far better choices than Mitt Romney.

Picture two-week old tuna salad left in the trunk of a car in Florida, in Summer. I'd be more likely to eat the tuna salad than vote for Romney.

He is convinced the election was stolen in 2012 and it probably was.

It was coming as pro-abortion again and against the party's pro-life platform, repeating his support for Gay Scout masters, and running pro-choice ads in the battleground states of Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin, and losing all three, that defeated him.

He depressed the vote and ran to the left.

Yeah, he has a good chance to to be nominated. Conservatives are as fractured today as we were then. Our failure to coalesce behind a candidate gave us Rommney. Conservatives are individualists. We are not inclined to flock or join a herd. Still, we have got to figure out who we can coalesce around earily and do so, or we will loose the country and probably the world.

If Mitt should run you will see all the usual suspects like Hannity, Coulter, Rove, Crystal quickly start to coalesce around him. There is nothing they love more than a RINO to back. For the good of the country I hope he stays out of it.

I hope he stays out too. But the question was could he run? Yep and he could win. He would sure be better than any dim. That is faint praise though.

Why? So that we can have Hillary in the white house?

Why? Because because Romney is a progressive liberal (arguably more so than Hillary) who has already proven himself hopelessly incapable of representing the conservative base of the Republican party (not once, but twice) and as a result failed to unseat the most anti-American Pres[id]ent in our nation's history. Given a choice between someone "bad" and another someone "bad" ... I'll look to a 3rd party or write-in candidate to find someone good.
