Emil Henry campaigned for Romney in 2012. He is now writing Romney would have a good chance to get the Republican nomination in 2016. It appears that Romney will run in 2016.

I look forward to the expression on his face when he loses a third time.

He can save time and money by giving his acceptance speech and concession speech at the convention.

In 2012, the Republican voters made it clear that Romney was athe last choice in a field of vulnerable candidates. Normally, I wouldn’t expect a serious 3rd party run, but this is a very good way to invite one.

Mitt Romney set out early to create a vacuum for the 2008 primary, he pulled some early fund raising stunts that locked up some big money and announced that he would invest a large portion of his personal fortune, this kept out any serious competitors, and then of course it was even easier for him to pull that off for 2012.

There won’t be a vacuum in 2016, that primary will be full of heavy hitters, it will be a battle between the Reagan/Palin wing and the Rockefeller/Romney wing, Romney is not big enough to play with the big boys and never was.

This is utterly ridiculous! Romnay, after the last election and by his own admission, stated he had no desire to serve as president. He ran because he was pressured to do so. Let’s find someone who wants the job!

Is Romney a masochist? Does he like pain?

Or, is he a sadist? Does he like to watch us suffer because of his campaigns?

Or, both?

Exactly!

The leftwing socialist rags always promote RINOs as they are the weak link in freedom.

Their attacks on true conservatives always show who they fear.

Bingo! Where they for this guy last time? I don’t think so. This is what counts as “balanced journalism” from a left wing site. They pretend and put this on the shelf to pull out when needed, all the while shilling for the RATS.

He is not the de facto leader of the republican party.

He is a gutter urchin and if I have blow money to defeat that A-hole, to get to a candidate who is acceptable, for damn’d sure I’ll do it.

K C U F Mitt Romney. ...

Putz...

No, no, no. I don’t regret not supporting him last time, and I foresee more lack of support in my future. Though I will admit, the place was more delusion-filled when the Romneybots were around, and was therefore more entertaining.

There’s an equivalently strong case for me to wash the three dishes stacked up in my sink. The difference would be that the result would be a positive.

Heck, no.

Sounds like the political consultants want to pick his pockets again.

“Strong Case for Romney 2016 White House Run”

Please, no. I voted for Romney in 2012, and would do so again, given the choice between Mitt and the 4 more years of Obama we are now suffering. But 2016 is not going to be like 2012 or 2008. The young guns in the GOP are coming of age, and some of them are actual conservatives. We will almost surely have several far better choices than Mitt Romney.

I would accept Romney in a GOP administration. He’s got a lot of business smarts. Put him at the Fed or let him oversee an initiative involving privatization of inefficient government services. Something like that. But as the head of the GOP ticket in 2016? Not the guy we need, or should want, IMHO.
