Sage advice coming from a Democrat. That is what you are.

Speaking of pro traditional marriage stances.

How about support for someone living in open adultery. And appearing at public engagements with her, just like a wife would.

Even Bill Clinton didn’t live openly in adultery.

McConnell is a liberal as well.
So, really, what’s the difference?

With that strategy the Republic will be long gone before then. How many more years of Obama style politics and border dumping can we take...not much. Your type are fools.

Its not emotional to note the record of these liars to vote with Rats for cloture on bills that takes 60 votes then turn around and vote against the legislation knowing full well the Rats have the 50 + votes to pass it

Then claim because the voted against it they somehow “fought” against. We aren’t stupid!

You’re talking about the cloture vote last Sept.? I can see good reasons for and against voting for cloture then. The Obamacare pain hasn’t arrived yet, but it’s coming after the election and Repubs can’t be blamed for it, although BOzo et al will surely try.

I will never try to kill off Republicans and leave us in the hands of Democrats, never. I can't believe any freedom-loving American would make that there goal.

Many of these people have simply lost the plot. They are living in a fantasy land where some silent conservative majority is going to rise up, throw "all the bums out" and elect pure conservatives that everyone will suddenly be happy with.

They don't seem to realize there isn't even the silent majority Nixon counted on anymore. In fact, our side is increasingly in the minority as this country becomes less white and more populated with people that want an activist government and a bunch of freebies.

All these people yammering how the House should just cut off funding for this, that and the other. Everything is politics. If cutting off funding for what we don't like leads to a government shutdown, we all know which side the public will come down on. The people of the United States DO NOT WANT government shutdowns. Any elected official is a politician who has to at least pay attention to what the polls/people are telling them.

In order to get the politicians we want, you have to change the way the voters think FIRST. The exact opposite of what many people here seem to think.

A general election is a choice between the only viable options. One candidate may support us 50% of the time, the other 0% of the time - the 50% is better. The most important vote any new Senator cast is for Majority Leader. No matter how piss poor McConnell is, he is infinitely better than Reid (who will allow every Obama judge nomination on the bench thus altering the Judiciary branch for a generation). A Republican Senate paired with a Republican House can at least stymie more of Obama's agenda than just a Republican House can do by itself. At least we can put a view bills on his desk that cause him some political discomfort having to veto.

People need to stop wallowing and whining and take a few minutes to digest reality and stop living in some echo chamber that tunes out everything they don't want to hear.

If we stay home and fail to take the Senate in 2014, the SCOTUS could be in jeopardy. If Ginsburg retires or if Scalia or Thomas passes away, we can forget taking back the country (politically) in my lifetime.

The libtards use the judiciary as a weapon. They will continue to push gay marriage (and other agendas) through the courts. With a liberal POTUS & Senate, we have still managed to score some wins at SCOTUS.

Show me some evidence the GOP will be an engaged opposition party to the Obama agenda if we reelect McConnell. I’ll buy you a clue. There is none.

If the kenyan needs a SCOTUS confimed the Dems will go to their deep bench in the Senate on Team RINO. They will use it when required.

Mitch said we need to wait until 2016. We’ll be just fine waiting without him.

http://www.redstate.com/2014/05/29/thad-cochran-hosts-fundraisers-for-liberal-democrats/

There IS no basement apartment listed at that address.

Either he’s breaking the law (because those are just for the little people!)

Or he’s just plain living with her.

Given that they appear at many social functions as each other’s ‘date’, it would seem to be the latter.

Even moreso given this:

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/05/26/Thad-Cochran-Aide-Listed-As-Part-Of-Spouse-Group-On-Taxpayer-Funded-Trip

Aides go with the senator for whatever is planned for that day. Spouses have different activities planned. It’s notable this his ‘aide’ didn’t appear to ‘aide’ him that day. What was she on the trip for then?

Even Bill didn’t take Monica (or any of his other slamps) as his ‘date’ to an official function. Or take them as a ‘spouse’ on an overseas trip. Or move in with them.

Uh nice try....try this and take your hi-brow to the barber...it looks really really BUSHy

The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty

Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind, (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight,) the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.

It serves always to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration. It agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.

There is an opinion, that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the Government, and serve to keep alive the spirit of Liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in Governments of a Monarchical cast, Patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in Governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency, it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose. And, there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be, by force of public opinion, to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume.

Team RINO can’t give us a single substantive reason why to vote FOR these careerist GOPers. It’s all just he’s “not a Democrat”. The GOP is bankrupt and without conservative actions. Couldn’t be more clear.

A sensible, realistic assessment, Longbow. Thanks for posting.

Your post is in line with The Buckley Rule, a worthwhile guide to this day.

OK, you’re crazy about a girl who dates around.
She always comes to you for money, to stick up for you or to take her places—when no one else is available.
She badmouths you to all her friends, intentionally does things to hurt you and when you ask her why, she tells you to `GoFYourself’ .
As a spiritual matter, what are you if you put up with it?
(Hint: it rhymes with `a**hole’.)

Based on their actions and words in Mississippi they ARE Democrats!

Bitch McConnell, Haley Barbour, NRSC, Chamber of Cronies ARE the enemy! Anyone that denies that isn't playing with a full deck.
