That gladdens me, Kurds treating Israeli money as good as anybody else’s, and it sets a good example. Take that you idiot Presbyterians.

Payment in heavy weapons, ammo and high tech please.

Looks like greasing the right palms in Turkey may have been a strategic triumph for Kurdish independence.

May God smile on them and protect them.

AWESOME!! Hopefully more of the world follows their lead and ignores Obama’s edicts. Just flat tell him to piss off.

Until pressure come on the Dems from everywhere, he will continue his king of the world trip. We will just have to go on our own apology tour when its over and TELL the world EARLY AND OFTEN that they should never again trust an American Democrat in power.

Getting anyone to trust us at all will be a miracle.

Turkey has got to be looking at this with some serious trepidation. If the Kurds actually get a fair amount of cash, they’re going to unite with their fellow people across the border in Turkey. On the positive side, that’s going to make a good solid buffer between them and ISIS. On the negative side, a good chunk of their country will leave.

Oh, and a big thumbs up to the Kurds to sticking it to both the Sunnis and Shites.

Good news. I think they may have worked out something with Turkey.

This sounds as if the Kurds now have access to the sea. If true then that is a major thing.

“All religions are rackets. Some are also traitors! “

I am glad that you had the fortitude to say it! When you look around the world today (or any other point in time for that matter) what drives armed conflict? Organized religion! The Biblical phrase, “ many there are who draw near to Me with their lips, but their hearts, their hearts they are far from Me” is the operative in most “organized” religions. And some of the “biggest names” in the God business are the worst in terms of being rackets. “How’d you like to buy an indulgence Nancy (or Harry, or Joe)?” To have a personal relationship with your God, you don’t need someone to tell you how to go about it while they are picking your pocket.

First Oil Cargo From Disputed Kurd Pipeline Set For Israel

Tanker Due To Dock At Ashkelon By Saturday

LONDON, June 20, (RTRS): Iraqi Kurdistan looked set to unload in Israel a first cargo of disputed crude oil from its new pipeline after weeks of seeking an outlet as Iraq’s central government has threatened legal action against any buyer.

The SCF Altai tanker was anchored near Israel’s Ashkelon port early on Friday morning, ship tracking and industry sources said. The tanker is expected to dock early on Saturday, local sources said.

Securing the first sale of oil from its independent pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan is crucial for the Kurdish Regional Government as it seeks greater financial independence from war-torn Iraq.

But the new export route to Turkey, built to bypass Baghdad’s federal pipeline system, has created a bitter dispute over oil sale rights between the central government and the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG).

It seems like the Kurds are the only adults in Iraq.

The article says through Turkey. If the Kurds and Turks are willing to start cooperating (i.e. kiss and make up) this could bode poorly for Iraq staying together.

"Kurds treating Israeli money as good as anybody else’s"

I read an article somewhere a while back that said the Kurds feel a kinship with the Israelies because they are both an oppressed people.

Why can't the rest of the middle east see a country (ok so it's only a semi autnomous state, but it's almost a country) who can live in peace, use their natural resources and provide for their people without death and bloodshed? Oh yeah I know the reason why. Because Islam is the religion of peace. Kurds have figured out how to walk the line between the world of religion and secularism. Welcome to the 21st century. Please try to drag your Sunni and Shiite Arab cousins with you.

Uh, ever hear of China? Japan? East Asia tends to be atheistic, and the wars of east Asia prove the religious bigots don’t know much about history.
