BRISTOL, VA (WJHL) - A Virginia newspaper reports a possible use for the vacant Virginia Intermont facility. As the country is faced with a surge in minors arriving on their own from Central America, federal Department of Health and Human Service officials are scrambling to find places to house the children.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that U.S officials are in talks of temporarily sheltering unaccompanied immigrant children on the campus of shuttered Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville.

Among the discussions, is the possibility of housing the children at Virginia Intermont College in Bristol.

According to Richmond Times-Dispatch, federal Department of Health and Human Services visited Saint Paul this week. Sources told the newspaper, federal officials are nearing an agreement use the facilities for at

Saint Paul is a historically black college that closed a year ago after losing its accreditation.

The school is also up for auction; leasing the property to the government would give the school time to find a buyer and pay down its debt, according to Times-Dispatch.

It’s estimated that 60,000 unaccompanied children will cross the border this year.

If Virginia Intermont were to be used for such purpose, it would require approval by the college’s board of trustees.

don’t house them. Ship them back over the border and tell them they’ll be shot if they come back.

Problem solved

Internment Camps for Children.

Lets call this what it is. The Obama Regime wants to send tens of thousands of children to internment camps.

fly them to their homes south of the border

much, much cheaper in the long run when factoring in living expenses and future welfare costs. It’s a no brainer.

Turn the whitehouse grounds into a detention center for illegals. I hear it’s pretty secure.

I see — spread them out to every part of the country as quickly as possible before Texas can get a handle on it. How close is this place to Cantor / Brat country? That sounds like the kind of slap in the face Obama loves to make.

Lawrenceville seems to be 30 - 40 miles from Richmond. Virginia Intermont is in Bristol, maybe 200 miles from Richmond?

“fly them to their homes south of the border”

Or get Argentina’s permission to fly them to Tierra del Fuego. If they decide to reenter the U.S., it’ll be a longer trek for them.

If we had a government trying to protect our sovereignty and the people the President would call the Presidents of each of the offending countries and tell them to stop sending the children immediately. ICE would transport the children back to their home countries. If the export of humans to the US continued the US would cut off all foreign aid to the offending countries.
