Hamas Reveals: Abbas Told Us He is ‘Tricking the Americans’

A former Hamas government spokesman revealed on Sunday that Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has said in private meetings he is lying in public statements to “trick the Americans.”

The spokesman, Ihab al-Ghussein, wrote on Facebook that “behind closed doors,” Abbas had said “when I go out and say that the government is my government and it recognizes ‘Israel’ and so on, fine—these words are meant to trick the Americans.” Palestinian Media Watch translated and exposed the Facebook post.

“Guys, let me (continue) saying what I say to the media. Those words are meant for the Americans and the occupation (i.e., Israel), not for you. What’s important is what we agree on among ourselves. …Don’t harp on everything I tell the media; forget about the statements in the media,” Abbas told Hamas, according to Ihab al-Ghussein. …

Mr. Abbas does not have to do much to “trick” Americans to gain sympathy and support. Over the past thirty years there has been a profound change in demographics and attitudes in the United States. Support for Israel was based on a profound sympathy for the the prime victims of the Holocaust and guilt for the historic Antisemitism that made it possible. Today not only is there a woeful ignorance of history in the West, but many now sympathize with the Palestinians as victims and are openly hostile to Israel. It is doubtful if Israelis themselves appreciate these changes. Obama’s cool policies toward Israel are not happening in a political vacuum.

What you say is true, however, Obama is a Muzzie at heart, and sides with Abbas, and it doesn’t bother him in the least to negotiate with Hamas. What really disgusts me is that John Kerry is a self denying Jew (yes, on one side of his family is Jewish ancestry). He’s always pawned himself off as an Irish Catholic because of his last name Kerry, thus fooling the constituents who voted for him in Massachusetts way back when.

Now it’s out that he has Jewish roots, and he doesn’t like it. He will sell “his people” out in a heartbeat, just like he sold his fellow veterans in Viet Nam out by lying about his supposed war wounds to get out of Viet Nam and got phony medals to boot. He was delegitimate back then, he’s still delegitimate now.

It has never been easier than in the current era we live in to “trick”, fool or pull the wool over the eyes of the US administration. This is the most gullible and foolish leadership America has ever had, even surpassing James Earl (”Call me Jimmy”) Carter.
It also would appear to the world that this administration actually PREFERS to be fooled and tricked on a regular basis concerning all issues Foreign and Domestic. If this President and underlings were serious adults, they might LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES but this is not happening, hence two possible facts emerge:
1) Either the administration is hopelessly niave and foolish.
2) This administration's actual agenda is to bring down the former US superpower status to the level of Luxembourg INTENTIONALLY.

If 1) is true, we are the laughing stock of the world, if 2) is true, we are committing suicide when we could, in fact, be doing MUCH better at being the world's beacon for Democracy.
The light fades for that “shining city on the hill”.
