It’s simple,an armed population is a free population. The only way to implement their totalitarian society is to remove from the populace the option of armed resistance. The marxist learn from history too, they know it was armed colonists who drove out the King’s troops and officials and founded a new republic. In 1917 a disarmed population was ripe for the taking by just a few “minority men” ie bolsheviks !

Yes, they did. But you still could get them. My dad had ordered a WWII mauser through the mail and it was delivered to our home, a couple, three years before that.
He was hoping for a real German K98K like he’d seen during the war - he got a Yugo Mauser and he sent it back.
Years later, I got one from a buddy that was a cherry battlefield pickup bring back that was made in the Mauser Oberndorf factory in 1935. Full laminated stock, all parts with matching S/Ns and no Nazi markings. Truly a choice rifle. I bought it in his memory.
Nice. I remember the ads in the back of magazines for mail order WWII rifles delivered via the US Mail. Those were the good old days. :>}

I think Texas requires state banks to be FDIC insured. That could easily change, though.

I am sure the head clown will issue and EO exempting or postponing the rule’s effects on its special interest groups like pornos and head shops. Those are just distractions from the real intent - the 2nd Amendment.

I was thinking that one way around this would be to have gun clubs set themselves up as buyers to obtain weapons directly from manufacturers for resale (at a discount) to their members.
Then I remembered that the law requires interstate transfers he made through federally licensed gun dealers, right? Not sure a club could attain such a license. So the way all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle fit together really falls into place: interstate transfers (and within some states all sales) require a gun dealer. So drive all the gun dealers out of business by denying them credit access.
If he was impeached and removed from office, race riots would break out and we would have President Biden to quell the flames. We as a country made our bed and we are going to have to sleep in it for two more years. Win back the Senate and we can at least neuter this autocrat.

I would think that there is a lawsuit in the works to prevent the FDIC from applying this new regulation to legitimate firearms manufacturers and dealers.
