If true, very incompetent cops.

Here’s a link to an interview of the murderer’s atheist, God-hating father. Gee, I wonder why the kid had no morals or direction?

Lock up the mentally ill. It is easy to know the criteria, because anyone who is prescribed with anti-psychotics has been proven to be unfit in the society. They needs to be LOCKED UP until they are no longer in need of those drugs (for most, it is life long).

These people cannot be reasoned with and a free society suffers from their derangement.

Families should be able to do more to have a family member hospitalized or something.

Two cases near me in the last couple of years where families had unsuccessfully tried to have their sons involuntarily hospitalized. One killed a neighbor with a hammer and cut her head off because she was “emanating rays” at him. The other eviscerated his own mother because the demons were inside her.

If the family tipped off the cops weeks ago good on them.
They just sheltered themselves from liability too.

What I can’t understand is why the media has no interest in the type of firearm used, that I have seen, at least.

Do we WANT aggressive profiling or do we NOT WANT aggressive profiling?

Remember the NJ mom that regrettably called state troopers regarding a gun being transported in her son’s car. The son was thrown in jail for no good reason.

I don’t think mental illness gets the attention it deserves, but how a reasonable and adequate system would function is beyond my imagination.

It’s a damn shame that innocents have to die because some spoiled brat isn’t right in the head. Just damn.

I’m assuming Daddy bought his Beamer. If they were worried about their son, why not take back the Beamer so at least he wouldn’t road rage and cause an accident and kill someone and at worst, well we saw at worst. The shooter really seemed to worship his car.

Family members didn’t think to grab his gun?

It was certain that we'd hear from the family's lawyers. Hollywood is loaded with lawyers helping the Hollywood crowd evade both responsibility for their actions and the consequences of their lifestyle and beliefs..

But Hollywood is also loaded with psychiatrists & psychologists to help the same crowd evade both responsibility and reality itself. Can't wait to find out this shit’s psychological history (drugs included).

Police interviewed him and said he was a nice boy.

Well, that explains why the sorority girls rejected him. #WomenLoveBadBoys

Police interviewed him and said he was a nice boy.

Yeah. This must have been after the psych eval.

Police interviewed Elliot Rodger and found him to be a "perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human," Shifman said.

Just what ere the cops supposed to do...if no law was broken...their hands are tied...a psych interview would be more appropriate. Cops can’t take people into custody because he made/watched videos... The person must demonstrate in front of them that they are a danger to themselves or others...immediate danger. Cops follow law...get blamed...cops don’t follow law...get blamed...
