WRONG, for the following reasons:
1.) IF we assume that CO2 is the root problem to Global Warming and Climate Change, THEN consider what would happen if atmospheric CO2 were, somehow, to be eliminated:
The process of Photosynthesis, defined chemically as follows:
6CO2 + 6H2O + (n)photons = C6H12O6 + 6CO2
would cease to generate carbohydrates, (C6H12O6), for most plants and the animals that eat the plants and eat the animals that eat the plants.
2.) To the best of my research, there has never been a cause and effect experiment that establishes that a change* in the concentration of CO2 has had a measurable effect on the temperature of the air.
*Note: at atmospheric concentrations of CO2 approximating maximum to minimum living conditions for most plants.
3.) All known published speculations on the effect of CO2 on temperature are based on the false assumption, as proven by # 2 above, that there is a measurable effect of the change in atmospheric concentration of CO2 on the temperature of the atmosphere.
Yeah, we’ve been having an unseasonable amount of white global warming land on my neck ‘o Colorado this spring. In fact, we now have another casualty of Global Warming here in Colorado: we’ve had to say goodbye to the Front Range rule of thumb that it’s safe to plant your tomatoes after Mother’s Day.
Since Global Warming has been making everything so unseasonably cold, I’m kind of hoping for some Global Cooling to warm things up a bit.
We had snow on Mother’s Day in 2000.
It’s because glow-bull warming has NOT reached that far south. It’s still busy melting the polar ice caps. Be patient, it will get there in due time. But to be safe they should go ahead and issue flood warnings.
The bottom line IMO is: God knows when it will be hot; and when it will be cold.
The wisdom of man is foolishness with God!
God created the heaven and earth, only he can destroy it.
Now that is an offense to many.
Mayor Rahm Emmanuel was walking and hit some ice and fell onto a snowy lawn where he was thrashing around to get back up. A wino saw him and yelled, “Quit trying to make snow-jackasses and get up and run some red lights!”
Ya, froze some of the field corn out last night in the river bottoms, don’t know if it was a killer yet as the growth point above ground has alot to do with it. Fields around here were up 2-5 inches.
Average last frost here is like April 18.
Covered the tomatoes, though.
Just wait till next year!
Considering the amount of ire for the Dems by the public, what happens when conservative Pubbies (or even GOP-E) win the popular vote?
What will they do then? Go back to the electoral college?
I remember getting a foot of snow once in June up in Syracuse... back in 1976. It all melted the next day though.
I remember, when I was a new teen living in the Berkshires of western Mass., it snow 4 inches on June 5th - in 1950...
weather happens.
Years ago I woke up with 6” of snow on top of me in the Sierras on the 4th of July.
Approx. a half inch of snow fell in Richland County, southwestern Wisconsin, on Memorial Day 1947. I saw it.
Chicago snow ping.
Cold day in hell for Chicago residents.
Just shut up! It's settled science! Give us your money and OBEY!!!
We must act now before it’s too late.
