The idea of being frozen in chosenness is warping this theology and making it a rigid “good luck.” IMHO.

The wisdom of this Lady is refreshing even as it is disturbing how accurate she is.

I don’t care what 2 or more consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedrooms, but I do object to them constantly rubbing it in our faces.

I don’t run around telling everyone my perversions, and I don’t want to know other people’s!

As individuals who read the bible and accept Jesus Christ, we know that Michael Sam’s homosexual behaviour is an abomination to GOD. Then why are all our church leaders not denouncing him and his homosexuality before the nation?

I believe there are many (not all are) lukewarm Christian churches and pastors who are afraid to teach sound doctrine and defend the church in a world continually obsessed with evil.

Jesus charged them to feed the flock and defend it from the wolves until HE returns. Instead, they are the wolves in sheep’s clothing who continually fleece the flock (spiritually and monetarily).

What Christians (of all colors) must understand is that homosexual behavior is perverse because Almighty God, who created sex and sexuality, deems it perverse.

What Christians (of all colors) must learn to explain is why the mechanics of violating G_d's system are destructive to liberty and empowers the almighty State. Sexual license isn't about freedom; it induces slavery.

Children with working parents are raised primarily by the State and mass media. Parents with moral problems usually go to the State for a divorce and enforcement of the settlement. That teaches children that it is the State that is in charge, not the parents or G_d. Children raised by the State and the mass media without stable parental involvement media have moral problems. Children with moral problems often grow up to be criminals, welfare cases, and incapable of providing a stable nurturing environment for the next generation. The State settles disputes, processes criminals, and psychiatric "treatment" which defines morality in such a way as to perpetuate the problems. The State educates the children to be servile morons. All of these "needs" and inabilities to control one's impulses induce demand for police, case workers, judges, lawyers, counselors, teachers, physicians, psychologists, prison guards, all on FAT pensions, none of it is cheap. Hence, they tax the middle class to pay for it while the rich shelter their incomes.

Dependents vote for the welfare state that writes the rules for everybody. Guess who it is to whom the administrate State responds? Those who fund the politicians: the rich and the bureaucrat unions. Is it any wonder then why Kinsey was funded and promoted by the Rockefeller Foundation and Rockefeller-owned media? Hence, it is the rich and the bureaucrats who subsist off the powers bestowed by their dependents, thus constructing a permanently indentured constituency funded by a dwindling middle class.

To say that sexual license constitutes freedom is the biggest lie of the 20th Century. Of course, it is sold by those whose revenue derives from their ability to manipulate public opinion on behalf of their owners.

Great post.

I have made my choice; I will face down evil with the help of Christ Jesus for as long as I draw breath, and I hope and pray that there will always be other Americans standing with me. If not, this Christian will stand alone and await judgment in due time from my God.

2 Timothy

"7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."

The less a person is involved with perversion, the more likely the person will generally find it odious.

Fine, all is agreed to this point.

But when we claim to be able to lump the world into two camps, “us” versus “them,” and further claim to make the distinction right here, right now, we presume way more than we have a right to based on empirical fact.

The truth is that the world is full of nothing BUT sinners, and there are few if any with an infallible “Christian radar.” Sometimes you can not know whether or not a person is even a believer until you have known him or her a long time.

This messy world calls for great individual discernment, not proud shooting from the hip. It gratifies us to pat ourselves on the back as the “non-perverts” while noting with proper disapproval the obscene orgy going on over there on the other side of the room. But nobody knows the leering look or filthy fantasy that we might find suddenly being entertained in our heads.

The less honest we are about our own fallibility, the more likely we are that Satan can take long term advantage of us through that fallibility.

I’d like to ask this “non perverted” church a question. How is its love life? Can it boast a lower divorce rate than the world in general? From last I have heard, the answer is no. If so, this ought to get us to stop and think real good. The slippery slope into worse stuff might be shorter and closer than we think. The answer that matters most is not “What camp are you in” but “What are you doing right now with Jesus and letting Jesus do with you?” I.e. not “where are you now?” but “what are you becoming?”

I am committed to letting Him make me His perfected child. I don’t know about the rest of you.
