Reminds me of "Mommy he is touching me".
Sure.
Brilliant analogy.
Putin is just playing a harmless kids game.
Sarcastic condescension is rarely the foundation for a convincing argument, and this is no exception. It is not a bad analogy, given the hollow nature of the implicit threat of such a proclamation. This is clearly an invitation for the West to get involved, and not a threat of Ukrainian response. So, yes, it is roughly similar to “Mommy he is touching me”.
Yah,but in *this* case the "he" is a well known, well documented, brazenly proud child molester.
The analogy is condescending to the people of Ukraine. I simply responded in kind.

I disagree. The threat isn't "hollow". Russia has already taken one oblast by force and they are currently repeating the process in at least two additional oblasts. That's hardly an example of a "Mommy he's touching me" kids game.
It's an example of a country who's sovereignty is being attacked, who is weak and needs help, and who is describing a serious, dangerous real life problem.
When the Russian tanks roll in and begin killing Ukrainian citizens in yet another Russian war of chauvinism against another smaller and weaker country, come back and remind us how you stood up for Putin’s bullying. Remind us that you were unwilling to see his military threats as anything more than childish horseplay.
Libya. You did post like this, then, yes?
You’ve knowingly created a totally false narrative by saying that anyone says there have been crimes against humanity. I say show me the evidence to the contrary or until you do be recognized as a liar.
Another fan of the muslim terrorist Kadaffy who murdered scores of innocent Americans. How sickening. No wonder you support the genocidal terrorist Putin too.
Oh, you were for Gaddafi or you’re for using moral equivalence, like an anti-American leftist?
Don’t you know? Kadaffy was one of the “good muslims” like Assad and the Ayatollah, not one of those bad muslims like Obama.
Yeah, I know. That’s some crazy stuff. Gaddafy a good Muslim, now I’ve heard it all. I hear these lowbrow Puitinista cheerleaders cheering on one of the richest men in the world, President for Life Putin, and never minding or figuring out that his secret police are in bed with the Iranian secret police while he helps the mad mullahs of Iran become a nuclear power. Putin - they say - is the Charlemagne of our time, if not Constantine himself, and these philistines are too stupid to see he’s in bed with the same Muslims he’s protecting the world from.
Were you mad at Reagan when he bombed Gaddafy?
After Reagan bombed Lybia, 'Gaddafy' got the message. He opened up his country to US inspection, got rid of all his gas and bomb programs, turned over the Locobie bomber and was toeing the line and became one of the 'good' guys.
Why in the hell did we then bomb him to his grave and permit the brotherhood to take over the country, now a very risky place for Christians.
Putin did not want this to happen and is one of the reasons that he doesn't trust Obama.
We can’t run our own country responsibly yet can’t seem to resist getting involved in the affairs of other countries. It inevitably it has blowback from others that had relationships with those countries. Obama said that Assad in Syria had to go and that then created the power vacum that created a civil war. Why did we invade Libya as Ghadaffi had done what we asked?
There are outside forces that thrive on turmoil and divide. You can bet that these forces that push multi-culturalism upon us will inevitably turn it against the USA.
Now, children. Let’s discuss this like adults. Nobody outside of your little corner of the world really gives a rat’s ass. Ukrainian. Russian. What’s the difference? So put down those high-tech weapons systems, and go harvest some wheat, eat potatoes, drink vodka, sell internet brides, or something. Whatever it is you people ordinarily do.
Due to an old, unsurprising move, the vodka is already out of the bottle and on the ground.
All along, Russian aircraft, including bombers made for carrying nukes, have buzzed into our airspace and airspace over quite a few friendly nations and been escorted away by older NATO fighters. It’s the huff-and-run behavior of a problem child, and admirers of bullies sympathize with it.
