But when John Warner endorses Mark Warner instead of Ed Gillespie, and Richard Lugar endorses Michelle Nunn, that is, ACTUALLY TRYING TO GET THE DEMOCRAT ELECTED, not a peep is heard from the republican establishment or the moderate lovers/apologists!

On one hand, Poliquin is absolutely right in the way he pegs this weak sister moderate squish.
On the other hand, the majority of Maine voters are so terminally stupid that they will always vote against any real conservative in a two-way race. New Englanders like to think they are independent, but they aren't.
With the exception of a three way race which elected a decent governor, the only way the GOP can win in Maine is with a weak sister type in the GOPe mold.
