This is OBSCENE!

In their efforts to hide their actions from the public, the Feds have enacted a NO FLY ZONE over the approach corridor for the nearby Mesquite Airport and immediately adjacent to the “Mormon Mesa” VOR/TAC, a navigation beacon.

Aircraft routinely fly directly to the VOR/TAC from various directions, INCLUDING that portion blocked by the NO FLY ZONE. This is similar to barricading an Interstate highway a few miles from the intersection with another Interstate highway.

BLM collects $1.27 million in shale fracking leases

The Bureau of Land Management has just cashed in with $1.27 million in oil and gas leases in Nevada. This was just reported two weeks ago in ShaleReporter.com, which states:

U.S. Bureau of Land Management geologist Lorenzo Trimble tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal the Elko County oil and gas leases sold Tuesday for $1.27 million to six different companies. The auction took place in Reno. The leases are near where Houston-based Noble Energy Inc. wants to drill for oil and natural gas on 40,000 acres of public and private land near the town of Wells. The Review-Journal reports the project would be the first in Nevada to use hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, to extract oil and gas from shale deposits.

The way this works, of course, is that BLM runs land theft operations by claiming they are “managing” the land and thereby kicking everyone else off it. They then invoke a reptile, an owl, a bird, a snake or some other animal which they claim to be “saving,” even while they are stealing and destroying hundreds of cattle belonging to a private rancher trying to make an honest living in a nation where productive Americans are increasingly branded “enemies of the state.”

Once control of the land is established via court order or by bringing armed men with automatic weapons, BLM then turns around and leases the land to fracking companies who proceed to exploit the land using hydraulic fracturing techniques that inject toxic chemicals into groundwater supplies (and have been linked to earthquakes). The money collected by the BLM is then used to increase BLM salaries and bonuses.

Running open range grazing on land while oil exploration
is going on is no problem at all. They drill wells on my
property and the ranchers or the cows could care less.

“fracking companies who proceed to exploit the land using hydraulic fracturing techniques that inject toxic chemicals into groundwater supplies (and have been linked to earthquakes).”

A totally bunk statement. They are fracking way below the
water table and there is no evidence that it causes
earthquakes. Total BS.

Hey! It serves their agenda, quit being mean to them by telling the truth!

This is just another Reid land scam. I love the Overton Valley area. The only patch of green anywhere around there and it is right along the Virgin River (creek).

Note the phrase "fracking leases" is completely bogus. No one in the industry would refer to a DRILLING LEASE as a "fracking lease". This exact same article is on about a half dozen different websites, word for word. So the question is one of who is trying to make oil companies, not to mention "fracking" out to be the bad guy here?

The hot oil interest in the Chainman Shale is over by Wells, and mainly in Elko County, a pretty fair distance from the area in question.

This is bizarre because as I was reading in another thread, someone had WRITTEN A POST IN ALL CAPS. Someone else commented, that they must work for the National Weather Service.

I immediately thought of aviation weather bulletins and Notices to Airmen as being in all caps, and wondered if the BLM coordinated with the FDA to put up a temporary flight restriction to help effectuate the federal thuggery that is afoot.

This is similar to barricading an Interstate highway a few miles from the intersection with another Interstate highway... so that bathhouse Barry and Reggie can engage in acts of faggotry in the grass median.

Fixed it.

I loved the California newspaper article that wrote a hit piece on crude -lbs rail and referred to the crude being carried in the tank cars not as “crude oil”, but “FRACKED CRUDE OIL”.

Ever wonder why the govt is stockpiling all that ammo? This may be one of the reasons. Signs of encroachments to come? Just askin.

Personally, I would like to see a media helicopter fly over the area at 500 agl and exercise their First Amendment Rights.

It would be the F.F.A. not the F.D.A. that would restrict airspace. Below three thousand feet so there crimes can not be seen and the operation of helo’s will not be in air traffic control or on radar or radio traffic. Can’t have to many eyes or ears watching you break the law.
