Running open range grazing on land while oil exploration
is going on is no problem at all. They drill wells on my
property and the ranchers or the cows could care less.

“fracking companies who proceed to exploit the land using hydraulic fracturing techniques that inject toxic chemicals into groundwater supplies (and have been linked to earthquakes).”

A totally bunk statement. They are fracking way below the
water table and there is no evidence that it causes
earthquakes. Total BS.

Hey! It serves their agenda, quit being mean to them by telling the truth!

This is just another Reid land scam. I love the Overton Valley area. The only patch of green anywhere around there and it is right along the Virgin River (creek).

Note the phrase "fracking leases" is completely bogus. No one in the industry would refer to a DRILLING LEASE as a "fracking lease". This exact same article is on about a half dozen different websites, word for word. So the question is one of who is trying to make oil companies, not to mention "fracking" out to be the bad guy here?

The hot oil interest in the Chainman Shale is over by Wells, and mainly in Elko County, a pretty fair distance from the area in question.
