I was wondering which software companies and developers were pushing for the CEO' s scalp. I know Rarebit is one, but I do not use dating websites. I have already deleted Firefox and Thuderbird, but I want to get rid of any software from the petty tyrants that are on a jihad to enforce there point of view. If we do not stop this in the bud what's next? If you agree pro-life, a small government supporter, conservative or libertarian, support Israel, etc do you lose your job or have to wear some other scarlet letter? Some both here and in Britain have called for those who do not support climate change to be fired and jailed.
I like Firefox, but I don't like their politics...so they can kiss my conservative fanny buh-bye.
I already moved all our comps over from Firefox to Opera today. Was a little difficult to get the bookmarks over, but it so far appears faster.
Pale Moon. Almost identical to Firefox.
http://www.palemoon.org/download-ng.shtml
I had it installed, running with all of my bookmarks in less than five minutes. Not a single hiccup.
Also:
From the Pale Moon Facebook page:
Since several people have been asking about this: Pale Moon is in no way associated or affiliated with the Mozilla Corporation.

Pale Moon also accepts donations. Let Mozilla see the revenue that they’re standing to lose due to their decisions.
That’s the one I’m going to try.
Great.
If you like it, please help spread the word.
My pleasure.
Opera's note-taking feature was a great tool in the writing of my book. Also, their email client is quite advanced - it uses "tagging" rather than the ancient "folder" paradigm. The built-in IRC is also quite handy if you ever have use for IRC.
I think of Firefox as a "developer's browser" and Opera as a "productivity browser".
I just migrated my Firefox bookmarks to Chrome after uninstalling Firefox. I’ve never tried Opera. What’s so great about it? Does it let you have drop-down search engines like Firefox?
It’s coming out in IMAX and 3D in June.
Thanks for the link! Just removed Mozilla from my laptop & installed PaleMoon, Seamless, no issues whatsoever!
My only question.....How do we know that PaleMoon isn’t also pro sodomy?
No pull down choices but you can change search engines in settings. It uses the address bar as the search input window.
I fail to see how boycotting a free product accomplishes anything.
“I have already deleted Firefox and Thuderbird”
O.K. but what did you replace Thunderbird with
I don’t want to go to Outlook
You think moving from Mozilla to Google puts you with a morally superior company? LOL How naive people are.

Now that’s a pretty mean comment.
.
Mozilla gets money from Google when someone uses Google through Firefox. However, free or commercial, this is a case of it not being about the money, but about the principle of the thing.
Pale Moon’s developer goes by the name Moonchild. Very occultic connotations. Of course it might not mean anything.
