Sarah I’ll just mention this, but how about thinking about this?

America needs to manufacture things once again.

Here in America. We need to stop making Chinese richer. We need to make Americans richer.

Bring back American jobs. Here. To America.

Sarah goes a couple more notches up for me while Ryan continues to slide down the scale of potential GOP leaders in my book.

What good is it to cut the budget (not that we have one) if you are going to destroy our immigration system and let every socialist freeloader from every foreign country in to prop up the Democrats who are just going to spend more than the 5 trillion dollars of the cuts that really aren’t going to happen anyway thanks to the demographic changes that country clubbers like you helped create. Ryan go take a hike with McCain and Graham and don’t come back(and take Boehner with you).

Palin should publish her own budget and show them how it’s done.

With respect to a meaningful federal budget, Sarah Palin needs to include compliance with Congress's constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers somewhere in her critique too.

“We need to rein in spending today, and don’t tell me there is nothing to cut when we know every omnibus bill is loaded with pork and kickbacks.”

Palin is correct. The answer is to bring the budget into balance today. Cut to the bone and raise tariffs, not income or corporate taxes, if there is a shortfall. Let foreign factories pay for access to the US market via a stiff tariff.

In the business world, when a company is losing money and borrowing from the bank to fund operations, eventually the board of directors brings in new management. The first thing management does is cut expenses to the bone in order to meet or beat the break-even point. If expenses can’t be cut enough, the company will sell assets or cut unprofitable product lines and operations. Management does what it must to restore profitability. Those companies that can’t achieve break-even declare bankruptcy and go into liquidation.

Politically it isn’t easy to cut the budget to bring revenue in line with spending but it can be done. Entire departments and hundreds of programs will have to be eliminated, each of which has a constituency who will scream. The troops will have to be brought home from overseas bases. The bureaucracy will have to be cut across the board (most restricting companies cut headcount by a minimum of 10%). Bureaucrats and elected officials will have to take pay cuts and do without perks such as rides on government jets and big parties/conventions. The government will have to privatize some of its activities or shut them down Amtrak, TVA, Post Office, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, rural electrification, student loans, and the air traffic control system are some that come to mind for privatization or liquidation. Foreign aid has to end as well as discretionary spending by the President.

Russian, China, and Iran are working hard to end the dollar’s reign as the world’s reserve currency. When the Middle East oil producers fall in line, the game will be up for the dollar. Either we will take drastic measures to restore the fiscal integrity of the nation or we will see hyperinflation and the destruction of the nation’s economy.

Sarah and everyone in Washington know the can has been kicked down the road and has just about reached the point where it can no longer be moved. The time of reckoning is now.

Sarah Palin's Awesome Ping List

My Own Final Four Bracket For America’s Future

Holy Moly! Are you kidding? You’d think one who is representing the mighty Badgers, who made it to the Final Four based on sacrificial work ethic and discipline that obviously pays off in the end, he who represents the great state of Wisconsin that hosts this underdog celebrated college basketball team, would understand that future success depends on hard work and sacrifices. The latest Ryan (R, Wisconsin) Budget is not an April Fool’s joke. But it really IS a joke because it is STILL not seeing the problem; it STILL is not proposing reining in wasteful government overspending TODAY, instead of speculating years out that some future Congress and White House may possibly, hopefully, eh-who-knows, take responsibility for today’s budgetary selfishness and shortsightedness to do so. THIS is the definition of insanity. Do we still not understand how dangerous it is to allow government to grow unchecked as we shackle ourselves with massive debt – a good portion of which is held by foreign nations who don’t necessarily like us? If we can’t balance the budget today, what on earth makes us think it will happen at some future date? The solution is staring us in the face. We need to rein in spending today, and don’t tell me there is nothing to cut when we know every omnibus bill is loaded with pork and kickbacks.

Reading the article linked below gave me the same reaction that my daughter just caused when she punked me with a very unfunny April Fool’s Day announcement. As my Dad would say after these April Fool’s announcements, “This would kill a lesser man.” This out-of-control debt is killing our economic future.

I hate to pee in everybody’s cornflakes, but I’m going to anyway. SP is just engaging in demogogery at its worst. You can cut all the waste and fraud in the world and you will still not balance the budget. The problem is entitlements. They will soon suck up every dollar the government spends. But nobody, Left or Right, Sarah Palin included will do anything about it. I know someone will say, “I paid into Social Security, and I deserve every dime I get.” Well true if you drop dead before 70, but those living on for the next 15-20 years will be collecting someone else’s money. The truth hurts, but the truth is the truth. We are going bankrupt from entitlements, and there is no one willing to stop it, Sarah Palin included. Like a sign I saw at a Tea Party rally, “Cut Government Spending, Hands Off My Social Security.”

Everybody leaves me cold today because nobody, Ted Cruz included, is proposing the real answer. It is what Reagan did to some extent, take off the green eye shade, and create economic growth. Make this country the end all and be all of business. Reward economic activity, make the business climate second to none in the world. Create wealth like it is going out of style. You run on unprecedented prosperity and I believe you got a winner. Stop with the ticky-tacky budget crap, it gets us nowhere fast. Economic growth solves many problems. In the 90’s, the budget was balanced on sure luck. It was nothing the politicians did, Slick and Newt can take all the credit they want, but they did little. The internet boom did it. All that wealth created in cyberspace balanced the budget. So lets stop our stupid fetish on the budget, and plant our flag on creating the conditions for people to prosper once again. Bring back the go go days of the 80’s when college grads were getting high salaries a week after graduation.

Doesn’t much matter what this budget is. It is a waste of time because Hairy has already said it is DOA in the senate.

So, we know democrats are not going to cut entitlements, they are expanding them. Republicans in DC won’t cut entitlements either.

They all will cut the military and screw over old people.

That is where we are at.
