Imagine if a former Republican presidential candidate and U.S. senator had called a current Republican president a delusional liar whose programs are wasteful. Would the mainstream media not be all over the story? Such a person would be interviewed at length by Wolf Blitzer on CNN as well as made the rounds of the morning talk shows and the Sunday news programs as well. The media buzz would be red hot on this topic for days extending into weeks.
Well, there is such a person but because he is a Democrat saying these things about President Obama, we can expect him to become an MSM nonperson. Such seems to already be the fate of former presidential candidate and U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey. It is no surprise that his extended criticisms of Obama appeared in in a Daily Mail article in Britain, not in America where the shunning seems to have already begun. Here is what Kerrey has to say about Obama which you most likely won't see in any major liberal news outlet in America:
The Nebraskan straight-talker told MailOnline in an exclusive interview that Obama isn't up to the job of bringing liberals and conservatives to the table to rescue America's slowly choking entitlement programs.
And Obama, he said Wednesday in his Manhattan office, knew full well he was lying when he promised that the Affordable Care Act would allow Americans to keep insurance plans they liked.
'He had to know he was misleading the audience,' Kerrey said quietly, recalling the newly minted president's countless promises as Congress and the public debated his signature health insurance overhaul.

And his sham of a “celebration” of ACA on TV now is the biggest lie of them all!!
Sounds like Kerrey might be angling for a presidential bid, or maybe he is jealous of Obama. It’s hard to figure out Democrats. They are all so loathsome, conniving and self-serving it makes it difficult to understand their motives.
Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen were absolutely brutal in their comments about Obama on Sunday (Fox Insiders with Harris Faulkner). They didn’t pull any punches .... rather refreshing to hear, actually. The most critical Republicans haven’t been as honest or straightforward compared to what these two had to say.

The left has had it with both Clintons and Affirmative Action Communists for two decades.
I’m not saying Bob Kerrey isn’t a disaster waiting to happen. I’m saying he could win the nomination.
Don’t underestimate the extent to which the left has become disillusioned.
What unites them is a belief that government is a force for good, and they believe that like some people believe in God.

You say its hard to figure out Democrats yet you described them perfectly in your next sentence. (Good job by the way!) The only question left is their motive. I’ll finish that thought for you: their motive is CONTROL. They want and feel entitled to run everything. The reasons for this are complex but its the bottom line.
He’s got the MOH. Enough said. It’s the medal you never want to win. If you do, it means you were both too lucky or too stupid to die.

They’re terrified of rugged individualism, and can only live pack behavior. Just like a colony of bees or ants, can’t exist alone, like conservatives can.
The truth is truth. Obama is a liar.
The few former ‘rats who ever had a shred of integrity, were there, on the inside. They know better than anyone that the left’s “principles” are relative as to how well they will help them acquire and maintain power. And the left lives to enslave everyone else “for the good of all” while building themselves up as an elite which runs it all, and builds a dynasty, if they can, just as a bonus.
What astounds me is how many people are rushing to hold out their arms to have the manacles welded on.
RinaseaofDs strikes upon the motive of Democrats, or any leftists by other labels, when he says that they believe that “government is a force for good.” This is the heart and soul of leftist politics, and it has been since the beginning of leftist idiocy. Government is God with a capital G in leftist ideology, and the purpose of their God is to control mankind because their God is good.
Never mind that control is an illusion, or that government is at best a necessary evil, that is always overreaching what is necessary. That pearl of reality and wisdom is out of the scope of leftist tunnel vision.
The faster we agree on this bit and devise ways of showing people that the opposite is the truth, not because the left is bad, but because they are naïve, and that there comes along people who are always willing to take advantage of their good nature, the better off we are going to be.
Government CAN be good, as long as it respects the governed. Does that look like the case today?
With the NSA listening in on their kiddie porn indulgence, even the left would agree this isn’t the case.
