SAN FRANCISCO – A California state senator who authored gun control legislation asked for campaign donations in exchange for introducing an undercover FBI agent to an arms trafficker with links to separatist groups in the Philippines, court documents revealed Wednesday.

Investigators said Sen. Leland Yee discussed helping the agent get weapons worth $500,000 to $2.5 million, including shoulder-fired missiles, and explained the entire process of acquiring them from a Philippine military captain and separatist groups to bringing them to the US, according to an affidavit by FBI agent Emmanuel Pascua....

I am going out on a limb here and saying a certain US senator who hates guns might be involved in this... she crows like a madwoman when people try to search her computers.

Maybe others have raised these questions. If Yee had the ability to get these weapons into the United States, has he already done so? If so, how many times has he been able to get these weapons into the country? Where are they? Who has them?

Back in ‘96, Yee was President of the SF Board of Education, he has also been a semi-diplomat it seems with China and Taiwan. Seems he wanted a crackdown on violent video games. I think Shrimp Boy is going to sink him.

“State Sen. Leland Yee, the enigmatic San Francisco politician known for his past brushes with the law and diverse array of stances on major policy issues, positioned himself last year as an opponent of a ban on shark fin soup, the Asian delicacy that depends on grisly fishing methods. That turned out to be a lost cause, as the ban became state law the first day of this year.”

Seems I saw something about him being busted for shoplifting once before as well, Hawaii. That would be the “past brushes with the law” if that is so.

This apparently is a state senator who lives in the US, wrongly termed “US senator” by the Filipino writer, hm?

Boxer most likely was the ambiguous rolodex helper, but this headline is misleading in that it was a State Senator, not a US senator.

Although the guy seems likely the candidate to give up HIS rolodex, and it might include TWO CA Senators.. eventually.

...including shoulder-fired missiles, and explained the entire process of acquiring them from a Philippine military captain and (Muslim) separatist groups...

Where are the charges of terrorism and treason?

But that is not to say that he does not have two CA US Senators very worried right now.

Shoulder-fired missiles. AKA MANPADS. Like the 15K the CIA was trying to recover during the Benghazi attack.

Hillary kinda dying on the vine may be a result of this quaint gun-running op. Boxer probably texted her, ‘you should probably just go away.’ And thighness went away.

Complicated as in a potential act of terror or IOW who did he think he was getting the guns for exactly?

Gov. Brown calls for THREE Democrat State Senators including Yee to resign.

Might be the only way, Democrats can be tossed out of office in some places, this is real corruption.

Does the FBI have a Democratic Party Task Force? It seems they need one now with all the criminals running around in that party these days.

This is a Philippine paper. When they say a US senator they mean a state senator in the US.

That got me too.
