“Homosexual” is a contrived term that is only about 130 years old, IIRC. We can actually do without it.
Sodomy activists, fornication activists, adultery activists, and contraception activists are all really in the same business: attacking chastity, or, if you will, continence.
So they are ALL the “Incontinence Movement.”
The word homosexual is as wrong as the word gay. I use it because everyone uses it but its the wrong word. Homosexual is a clinical description of a sex act - homosexual sex, it is not a valid name for a group of people. Gay is a PC term. F*ggot is vulgar, something trashy people call each other during bar fights. Sodomite in my view is the best terminology, atleast most Bible accurate, person experiencing same sex attraction is probably the best scientific formulation.
“Homo” is correct, I think. I use that.
Just call them what they are, QUEERS!

We don't have to try, they do it themselves. But there is the rub. They don't care about the words we use, its that we think of them, accurately, as being deviant. To them its ThoughtCrime that must be eliminated.
Indeed, until approx. a century ago, the word homosexual (or heterosexual) simply did not exist.
There was simply the act of sodomy, which was a sin - and a crime. One either did the act, or one did not. Like theft or lying. It was not considered to define a person and was not an all-encompassing lifestyle or category as it is now - as mentioned, the words did not exist. It took the beginning of psychology to give us the words of homo or heterosexual.
It was “The love that dare not speak its’ name.”
Now it’s the “Love that won’t shut the Hell up.”

Replacing the word “homosexual” with the word “gay” is going to change anyone’s attitude toward homosexuality? School kids have been using the word “gay” as a pejorative for at least thirty years. “That (joke, movie, song) was gay.” That article was gay.
Where I’m from, the word ‘gay’ in and of itself was an insult.
