How can you give an award to a children’s book if there’s not a single gay character in it?!

Our main enemies aren’t in Russia, the Mideast, or in China; they are here right next door to us, in our schools, our churches, and our government.

So performance doesn’t matter once you make the list, then it’s based on opinion.
Once it runs counter to the PC version of history, then all bets are off.

It’s become comical how the liberal press attempts to delegitimize, marginalize and discount conservatives. “Firebrand” “incendiary” for a conservative, but never any such attribution to psychotic liberals like Piglousy and her fellow (lemmings) travelers.

Well, this is from CNN. We still haven't heard from MSNBC. Their reaction should be even better since to them, Rush Limbaugh is even more badder worser than Fred Phelps.

If you have not read the book, please buy it for yourself, your grandkids and other children.
Rush always points out that true history is not being taught in schools and this book is a tremendous, exciting and extremely well written book about the pilgrims.
I hope he wins and the left’s heads will explode.

My wife bought the book for my 12 YO son...he loved it!
If I can pat myself on the back a little, I've imbued him with a passion for history.
During football season, he came out of the game after a head-to-head hit. He was a bit woozy, so I went down to the field to check on him. I asked him 3 questions:
1. What happened on 12/7/1941? Check.
2. What happened on 3/6/1836? Check.
3. What happened on 11/22/1963? He needed a hint (I was in 4th grade). Check.
I told the coach, he's good to go.
His teammates had that "wow" look...they had no clue. lol

The CBC letter goes on to say the kids, who will start voting next week, ultimately decide which author wins in each of the six categories, including best author. The letter goes on to assure that the organization has a procedure in place to protect against fraud and adult's voting in the contest.Cough, cough. I'll bet !

I'm a "naturalized" Texan. My 3 kids are 5th generation Texan.
I've told them there are two good things I've done for them:
1. I made sure they were born in Texas.
2. I taught them how to swim.
Anything else is pure gravy. lol
