I tried one sip of Red Bull one time. I spit it out and haven’t tried an energy drink since. If the other brands taste as awful, I cannot imagine drinking 8 ounces of the stuff, much less 8 liters.
He’s lucky to be alive. A Chinese boy died not so long ago from marathon, sleepless gaming.
I hate that crap. Why does he even need them? At that age my friends and I could do 24 and 26 hour binges of Avalon Hill games.

No, stupidity is deadly. It’s not the drink that’s the problem, it’s a seriously stupid kid dumb enough to think that you should drink 8-liters of virtually anything in a sitting.
Seriously. 8-liters of coffee for example. Even if it’s decaff, that’ll mess you up. 8 liters of soda? Yeah that’s a brilliant idea too.
Hell, even large quantities of water can be fatal.
Kid needs to get a life and get outdoors more.........so where were his parents during this video marathon?

surprised he actually didn’t kill himself. I remeber recently some asian guy played video games for a day, day and a half drinking stuff and died.

If so, then it’s worth a kidney (or two). This is what ANGERS ME so much. We have a kid here that is willing to go toe-to-toe with the BAD GUYS and all we worry about a couple of little internal organs.
How about we learn to APPRECIATE the sacrifice that kid was willing to make for the cause - for we would not even be here now if he was defeated.
