They must be in an expansion cycle.
One is slated for late this year (I think) in a Raleigh suburb, Garner.
Currently, Cabelas operates 51 stores across North America and has announced plans to open an additional 23 over the next two years.
Good place to put a store. Upscale, wealthy for the most part.
A short trip across town for me.
Over priced......
Huh?
I can buy CCI primers at Cabela’s for $29.99. With a coupon, you can get an additional 10% off. On top of all of that, my Cabela’s Black Visa card gives me an additional 5% off of that.
Show me where I can buy CCI primers $25.64.
I could do this same thing for many other things for sales there, as I have gotten many great deal at Cabela’s. If you are spending too much, you honestly do not know what you are doing, no offense intended.
Isn’t Cabelas on the List of companies to buy-cott because they favored some gun control moves?
We buy Duluth Trading...until they screw up too.

Well, I defer to you but I think I remember their company being part of a 2 A kerfuffle awhile back which surprised a lot of folks...don’t have the time to google it but be my guest...
Hah! Cabella’s is great and agree with your assessment.
I've got a 30 year old, -20F rated Cabella’s branded sleeping bag that has zero wear failures on it and recently used in -5F weather. Still going strong.
Cabella’s is where I have ended up pulling the trigger on a number of things over the years. I don't make changes lightly (still using 40yo Coleman stove and lantern) and Cabella’s seems to be the place that I end up upgrading things when I finally find the perfect item at the perfect price. I go for reliability and longevity.
When the Harrisburg Outdoors show (run by Reed Enterprises of the UK) was going to pull AR’s last year, Cabela’s was one of the first to pull their support for the show.....even before the NRA did.
You may be right...I won't argue the point. They just appear high on their prices...like Bass Pro too.
First time I was ever in a Cabela's was on a hunting trip in So. Dakota....I think it was Mitchell, SD. That was last Oct.
Nice store....didn't care about price then. Ha!!
This month, Cabela’s has the Hornady LnL progressive press on sale for $379.99. I have a $20 coupon which brings the price to $359.99. And then on top of that I get an addl 5% off with the Cabela’s Black card.
$341.99 for a Hornady LnL Progressive press. You will never find that price anywhere else.
Their Christiana Delaware store is due to open May 1st.
Cabelas is building a new store here. they have spent a year excavating a solid rock minimountain. The excavated limestone is used as fill
They still have some mountain left and there is still some hole left. It will be months til it is all level.
Both are lusting over the tens of thousands of Nascar fans that come here and stay a week for the races
Meanwhile down the road a piece, I-81, Bass Pro Shop chose a dirt hill to move (it is Tennessee and we have lots of hills) and has their building well underway.
I really like Cabela’s. I actually saw their several thousand $ tents with the stoves y in Alaska. People do buy them
That was Dick’s Sporting Goods. Cabelas supports the 2A.

Thnx, I DID take the time to Google this and I’m wrong.
Cabelas is pretty good on the 2nd A...my bad.
