Skip to comments.CARSON: Political correctness and the slavery of Obamacare

Speech taboos are meant to silence patriotic dissent
When I was in high school in Detroit, there was a great deal of emphasis on clothing.
As I became increasingly interested in fitting in with the in crowd, fashion supplanted academic achievement in my hierarchy of importance. My grades plummeted and I became a person who was less pleasant and more self-absorbed.
My mother was very disappointed, because she thought I had enough insight and intelligence to avoid the flypaper trap of acting like everyone else.
Fortunately, after wasting a year pursuing acceptance, I realized that my dreams went far beyond silk shirts and sharkskin pants. I decided to forsake the in crowd and redoubled my academic efforts in time to rescue my sinking grade-point average and gain admission to an Ivy League university.
To say that the in crowd was disgruntled when I abandoned their association would be a gross understatement. It eventually became clear to them that I would not rejoin their ranks under any circumstances, and they left me alone.
Despite the insults hurled at me, at the time of graduation, my classmates voted me most likely to succeed. This indicated that they knew the prerequisites for success but were unwilling to fulfill them, and they wanted others to remain shackled to their underachieving lifestyle.
Political correctness (PC) operates in much the same fashion. It is in place to ensure conformity to the prescribed expressions and lifestyles dictated by the elites.

God bless Ben Carson
I posted this earlier today from Dr. Ben
And BTW, 0bama zombies voted under the same P.C. Peer pressure.
And will continue to vote for Democrats under the same pressure.
Obamacare is the big “Federal Plantation” and Obama is the one in the big mansion.
Amen to that.
I also went to high school in Detroit, in the ‘70’s.
A totally different World. How times have changed.
Sometimes I wonder if we cede the PC, word games, jingo-isms, and making fun of your opponents; can we ever win against them?
Dr. Ben Carson: a great American.
A great American indeed!
Thank you to “The Greatest Generation” you left us a joke.
I like Dr. Carson, but, to be totally honest with you, I’m not sure that America is ready for another Black President. I’m not being racist, but, I’ve heard people say: “After Obama, I’d never vote for a Black man for President.”
Makes sense to me.
Maybe what we need is PH (political honesty), and to use all those same weapons against them. We’re in a war and we need to start acting like it.
In war, there’s something called “reprisals.” Reprisals are acts that would be illegal except for the fact that the enemy has committed an illegal act against you. A sort of tit for tat, illegal act in payback for an illegal act committed against you. We won’t enjoy being as obnoxious, etc., as leftists are, but we need to fight fire with fire.
Sometime ago on FR there was a link to this article about “political correctness”. I liked it so much I bookmarked it. I think it’s a nice supplement to Carson’s article.
Yup. His address is:
The Big House
1600 Plantation Avenue
Washington, District of Corruption
It is near the muddy banks of De Nile River.
Thanks for the link, I will read it.
It came from this link which you might also enjoy:
“intellectual AIDS” hehehehe snicker snicker snicker
I’ll check out that link.
That’s pretty simplistic thinking by those people. What does skin color have to do with it? I don’t vote for left wing marxist/socialist/statist/commies no matter their color, sex, weight, height, etc.
Good article. Same author, Bill Lind. The first paragraph really sums it up.
Thank you for the ping. Dr. Carson gives me hope.
