The fading Turkish model for the Arab world

Over the years millions of Turks have been on the streets protesting the ruling AK Party's broken promises to honor the Republic of Turkey's secular heritage. (To be fair the AK Party did clean up some of the corruption and helped the economy but the trade off is worrisome.)
BTW the Army used to handle these matters but the EU complained that if Turkey wanted in the EU the Army would have to stop protecting the secular heritage of the Republic of Turkey. Now the EU says "Turkey is backsliding in the democratic, political and judicial criteria for full membership in the [EU]." Go figure.

Not calling them the enemy is not going to change their minds that they are executing a Holy War against the West and the Great Satan (the USA).
On the larger scale it can’t be limited to Al Qaeda alone, Islam is on the march world wide under many names. Islam has proven itself incompatible with the Western ideals of freedom, the rule of law and justice. Islam can not co-exist with freedom. The real enemy is Islam.
We Conservatives must come to grips with the reality that multiculturalism and political correctness is a death pact with the Liberal Left. We must break with notion that we must use Liberal Speak not offend those who think that all cultures are equally valid. The USA was unique in its founding. In the 18th century Kings and Royalty ruled the world. The US was the first Democratic Republic since the early days of Rome.
The US culture of individual freedom is still largely unique in the world (fading fast unfortunately). It is about time we speak truth to power.
Islam is a sexist, homophobic, intolerant culture and not worthy of respect. The people of the United States should know this. If we listen to their own words it can not be clearer.
