The title seems deliberately misleading about what he said. What he actually said was this
“Western experience has been such that people respond with violence primarily when they feel they are politically, economically, or socially oppressed. The point seemed to be that violence in western cultures is triggered by political, economic or social injustice, but that is not necessarily true for muslims. The muzzie religion is itself a trigger to violence.
