I have worked and trained very hard to get to the level I am at and if A2006 becomes law, I will be forced to choose between giving up on a very great and promising future in a sport that I love or asking my dad to move to another state. I will not be giving up my sport.
She said many of the firearms she hopes to use in the next level of her young competitive shooting career will be made illegal if the proposed gun control bill, known as A2006, becomes law.
Everyone is upset about bad people doing bad things to others, but punishing the people who didnt do anything wrong is not the way to stop bad people, she added. If it wasnt against the law, I wouldve brought one of my competition guns with me today to show you it wont do anything unless someone touches it.
I ask you please keep the promise you made when you were elected by protecting peoples rights and vote no on A2006, she concluded.

LOL. I moved away as well. I had friends up there who were afraid to even *touch* a gun. It was like Stepford creepy.
Probably too afraid to speak the truth.
