The 9-year-old girl explained that she is a 4th-grade honor roll student and competitive shooter in multiple styles with numerous local, state and national sponsors.
“I have worked and trained very hard to get to the level I am at and if A2006 becomes law, I will be forced to choose between giving up on a very great and promising future in a sport that I love or asking my dad to move to another state. I will not be giving up my sport.”
She said many of the firearms she hopes to use in the next level of her young competitive shooting career will be made “illegal” if the proposed gun control bill, known as A2006, becomes law.
“Everyone is upset about bad people doing bad things to others, but punishing the people who didn’t do anything wrong is not the way to stop bad people,” she added. “If it wasn’t against the law, I would’ve brought one of my competition guns with me today to show you it won’t do anything unless someone touches it.”
“I ask you please keep the promise you made when you were elected by protecting people’s rights and vote no on A2006,” she concluded.

Think Democrats in that part of the country give a damn about kids? Just ask Mayor De Blasio, who is throwing poor kids out of their charter schools to please his union bosses.
they WANT to disarm people, they don’t give a DAMN about any thing else.
Nine year-olds are smarter than New Jersey officials so these officials cannot understand the questions posed.
And those who elect them are dumber than most creatures, large and small.
Exactly. They keep kids vulnerable in those nutty “gun free zones” because school shootings do more than anything to advance the real agenda, which is to disarm the citizenry.
stuff isgoing to hell. i believe the govt will go after retirement money and haircut bank depositors.
they want to disarm people so they can’t stop them from doing this and worse, without fear of the people as the final line of defense.
Politicians don’t care about a 9 year old girl. Get to 18, vote several times each election and give us some tail. Sad but true.

they take it to ensure only two classes of people exist from the chaos. inner party - top corporatists and rich libs, and the proles. no middle class. they just wipe it out. so far it hasn’t been fast enough.
there was a time in NJ when most high schools had rifle shooting clubs and competitions.
Now that brings some faith in the younger generation back to Me!
Actually, they do care. They're mortified that the girl hasn't been sufficiently brainwashed to be terrified of even a Pop-Tart representation of a gun. Pointing a finger and saying "BANG!" is supposed to send kids into paroxysms of fear - it has worked on a lot of the teachers so far....
