There is no area of our lives over which the government will not seek control. Take the latest example. Obama is reaching far beyond publishing new food nutrition guidelines or insisting on calorie counts in fast food restaurants, he is intent on allowing global warming alarmists and other extremist groups to co-opt them as well.
In an article entitled, Obama administration pollutes guidelines for healthy eating with unhealthy ideologies, published Sunday by the Washington Examiner, National Center Senior Fellow and Risk Analysis Division Director Jeff Stier says environmental activists within the U.S. government plan to change the nations dietary guidelines to promote foods that they believe have a smaller carbon footprint.
HHS and the USDA are meeting on the 14th and they are including guidelines that will include climate change activism which will negatively impact food stamps, military and school meals programs. It will be expensive and it will push a far-left wing agenda which includes ideas such as abandoning meat and dairy as much as possible.
Members of the committee are special interest groups who will for the first time have input into the guidelines.
Guidelines will now include sustainability as part of the agenda in drafting the guidelines. Other agenda items include immigration, global climate change and agriculture/aquaculture sustainability.
Food security is being used to advance an extreme and expensive left-wing agenda. Please read the article here.
Just the printing of the guidelines will be expensive to say nothing of the cost of food.
For one thing, climate extremists want to push people towards becoming vegetarians or better yet, strict vegans. None of this will affect climate in any way whatsoever.

If that table is verbatim from the environmental working group, it cannot possibly be taken seriously.

Come on now. It’s hard enough making up all those numbers, without also having to specify units!
I’m assuming they used unicorn farts.
Ever seen a healthy looking vegan or vegetarian? I know a few, they always look sick, seem to have numerous frequent health issues and take tons of pills to account for the loss of nutrients in meat and dairy,
Ever wonder how a country as big as China could be conquered and subjugated by a nation (Mongolia) with something like 1/100 its population? Diet had something to do with it...
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
