Trump: Real Unemployment Rate 21, 22 Percent
National Review ^ | 03/06/2014 | By Eliana Johnson

Donald Trump is an eternal favorite among the political junkies who comprise much of the audience at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference.

By contrast to the long line of politicians he follows on the dais, the real-estate magnate seems refreshingly candid. The audience here laughs at his jokes and encourages his bombast.

“I saw Tiger Woods this morning, Ernie Els, and Phil Mickelson, and I told them I’m going to CPAC,” he said as he took the podium on Thursday. The crowd cheered. He mentioned that he’d been to Moscow recently, because he owns the Miss Universe Pageant, and knows a thing or two about how to deal with the country’s dictator, who has caused so many problems for President Obama in recent weeks.

“We have so many problems with so little leadership,” he said ruefully.

Trump also addressed the economy, calling the unemployment statistic issued by the government each month a “phony” number.

“The 6.7 percent is probably 21 or 22 percent real numbers,” he said of the nation’s unemployment rate. The number ticked down further, to 6.6 percent, in January. “When you give up looking for a job, it’s like they consider you employed,” he continued. ”It’s amazing.”

Trump went on to liken the 44th president to the 39th. “I think next month we will have surpassed the late, great Jimmy Carter,” he said.

But the business magnate wasn’t all doom and gloom. He predicted that Republicans will take control of the Senate in the midterm elections and, though he predicted Hillary Clinton would be the Democratic presidential nominee in 2016, he said that she is a beatable candidate.

“The bottom line is very simple,” he concluded. “Make America strong again, make America great again. We have such unbelievable potential, we have to use it, we need the right leaders.”

One other thing. I wonder how many Americans are stuck at part-time jobs with no benefits because FUBO’s economy has eliminated the full time positions?

Actually, real or not, doesn’t really make a difference to Obama. His lackey Executive Branch flunkies will torture the data so badly, it will confess anything Obama wants. And the Media will trumpet it like Jerico’s Horn.

All that aside, none of that really makes any difference because it has been Obama’s plan all along to implant the greater portion of this nation’s populace into entitlement slavery of one form or another.

As long as he and his ilk can placate the losers ‘entitling’ while simultaneously enacting new laws, rules and Executive Orders stealing more and more from the producers, he can get and keep what he wants.

And, even if he can’t TAKE enough, it doesn’t matter. Paul Ryan, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell gave him a Perpetual Blank Debt Check. He cannot lose.

Jimmy Carter is not yet "late" but I like the sentiment...

The late Jimmy Carter? Last time I read, he’s going to Venezuela to keep the peace or something.

We are living through the second American economic depression. It would be more visible if we did not have entitlement paychecks, food stamps, aid for children, etc.
Obama’s “solutions” have deliberately failed as part of his redistribution of America’s wealth.

How true. Just like Obama Care is deliberately failing so as to collpase the entire private pay option so he can usher in NHS.

If I live that long or Christ hasn't come back yet, I will tell my grandchildren I lived through the Great Obama Depression.

Government issued employment numbers are a fictitious as the hockey stick graph of Global Warming.

How did we arrive at a government of perpetual liars? What can we do to rid ourselves of it?
