Commander-in-Chief Of Ukraine Navy defects, pledges allegiance to Crimean Republic
WHOA ping a roo
Who does he think he is, Robert E. Lee?
We’re learning just how “Balkan” the Ukraine was.
The Soviets probably didn’t allow any ethnic Ukrainians into the high level of the local armed forces anyway, and in recent years, the Russians never allowed real operational control of naval bases or ships to the Ukranian government anyway. This “Commander in Chief” was probably Russian through and through.
Estimates I read were that about 80% of Ukraine armed forces are loyal to the elected President, Yanukovich, not the SS-Nazi rabble who took power in Kiev.
Gunmen have infiltrated and shut down Ukrainian naval headquarters in Sevastopol, Interfax-Ukraine reported March 2. In addition, a Ukrainian military source said the Russian military, after initially claiming it was simply guarding a Ukrainian air force anti-aircraft missile division in Sevastopol, took control of the unit and its equipment. Russias moves in the autonomous republic of Crimea have raised tensions between Kiev and Moscow, but the new Ukrainian government and its military are in no position to challenge Russia
The Ukrainian government has dismissed the administrative heads of 18 of the countrys 24 regions, RT reported March 2. Their newly appointed replacements include representatives from the Fatherland and Svoboda parties. Kiev faces mounting internal pressure that may prove insurmountable for the new regime
I read somewhere that those 100s of thousands of protestors in Kiev were all George Soros.
lol
“George Soros, with the Monsanto seeds, in the Billiard Room.”
Would that be the Democratic People's Republic of Manchukuo? Oh wait, different war. I'm getting my puppets mixed up.
The only questions remaining are whether the regions east of the Dnieper will choose to form their own country, or unite with the Crimean Republic...and whether the coastal regions surrounding Odessa will do the same in conjunction with Moldova.
I'm pretty sure Russia doesn't care either way...3 Republics or 1.
But, the idea of a single, united Ukraine is over. Likely forever.
Khrushchev was Ukrainian...
Was the Ukraine ever united?
It was united only under the Soviet Union...and then only after WWII.
That hardly counts as “united.” Seems to me there are several peoples there, who maybe don’t wish to be living in the same country as each other.
