Put the blame where it is due.
Gator’s is adding 3% at its Ft. Myers locations.
I wish they’d do the same when meat and produce prices go up, or energy prices go up. Instead they just jack up the price and print a new menu.
Don’t hire employees. Use B2B contractors only.
I am a life-long bookkeeper. Depending on the number of employees this restaurant has & the number of dependants those employees have, I say that 1% isn’t enough.
I would peg it between 4 & 5%.
Soon this practice will be illegal. But it is all lies. Harry Reid says so. There is nothing but rainbows, skittles, and purple drank from the heavens with Obamacare.
She said she thinks the thorough explanation presented to each diner has made the change more palatable.
BULLoney. It makes me more pissed off. I read the thread from a week or two ago about that restaurant in California doing the same thing. My first reaction was that if I was notified like this - I would get up and leave and never return.
The only way I would tolerate such a notice would be if the restaurant took a more direct and honest approach:
Did you happen to read any of the Lib comments about the story? Appears the Libs are fine with Obozocare as long as it doesn’t cost them and as long as it is a hidden charge in the menu. Someone else is always expected to pay for their wet dreams.
I think I just became a fan and will start eating there. Of course, they’ll eventually cave or be forced to comply with a new law to avoid this reality.
Sad to read the comments like:
“I just feel like shouldn’t the owner or the company pay for this? Why should I have to suffer?”
Education failure....
HAhahahahahahahahaha!!! The truth hurts, huh. This business is putting it out there for all to see rather than hiding it within increased menu prices but she's too dumb to understand that. If every company itemized customers' bills it might wake up some sheeple.
