I wish they’d do the same when meat and produce prices go up, or energy prices go up. Instead they just jack up the price and print a new menu.
I wish they would break out and post the taxes we pay at the gas pump, something to read while we fill our tanks.
I think it would be even more meaningful if they printed the prices as they were on the day BO took office then just put a big red x on them and handwrite in the new price rather than printing a brand new menu. I can just imagine the number of restaurants that would be threatened with closure or by IRS if they did this though.
