Think how different things could be in this country if all of the armed citizenry, which is substantial, were to suddenly march on Washington with weapons at the ready.

Like in my favorite satire article.

The fruits of Universal Suffrage, Chavez and Maduro won the popular vote, then became dictators.

Nations enfranchise idiots and then are surprised that they elect marxists who promise them lots of free stuff.

All fun and games until the toilet paper runs out and an imbecile is President.

The Founders thought Universal Suffrage was a bad idea, and didn’t put the right to vote in the Constitution.

The political class in DC play the game better than the morons in Venezuela, but eventually we will be facing the same problems.

The listing of Jesse Jackson, Sean Penn, Danny Glover, etc., should have led with Noam Chomsky who certainly would be on a leftist Rushmore with Obama, Alinsky and Piven.

Mt. Trashmore (a garbage dump mountain turned ski area) in Riverview Michigan. That would be a good place to memorialize dems.

The Latin American policy of the Bush administration wasn't much better.

Just curious . . . where were the screw-ups?

At least, they say they won the popular vote.

I have doubts

No comparison. It would take thousands of John Gacys to match the legions of innocents murdered by obama’s support for all abortion all the time.

he claims that the protests are an American plot to destabilize his government, as though the Obama administration were that deft

I initially read "deft" as "left", and I thought, nonsense!

"Why can't we go to Caracas, honey?"

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron spend Valentines Day at a five-star ocean front Mexican Resort.

Relatively speaking compared to the Middle East, Bush ignored the situation in Central and South America while Chavez spread his influence over the entire region, thereby pissing away most of the gains under the Reagan Administration. Things down there was pretty dire under Carter and now (with the exception of Colombia) they're back to close to where they were. This hemisphere was simply not a high priority for the Bush Administration, even when Islamic terrorists were making it into a staging ground.

Gotta love the left. One of the excuses for shortages is that the goods are being smuggled out of the country on motorcycles.
Wealthy merchants proceeded to hoard essential goods: corn flour, sugar, salt, cooking oil, toilet paper, etc. placing them in hidden warehouses or spirited off to Colombia through a well-planned smuggling operation. The military discovered an illegal bridge built for motorcycles that carried the smuggled goods.

I heard someone on talk radio say that Kerry, or Obama, said something about how we don’t ascribe to the Monroe Doctrine anymore. (No s*&^!)
