Take the Senate, then we might have a chance.

IMPEACH and REMOVE!!

There is CERTAINLY enough publicly available and objectively documented evidence of all “O’s” infractions.

There isn't a politician in the United States who has taken the liberties and defied the rule of law as often or to the extent “O” has, and escaped censure.... WHY can HE?

Actually Impeachment is not the only option.

Can nullify EO’s and CFR rules by Congressional overrides.

Has even been proposed by libs such as Stephen Breyer because they know all of it is un-Constitutional.

If the RINOs had any sense they would use this as a campaign issue to convince people to turn over the Senate to them.

But that would imply they had sense, like I said....

Can we have a “double feature” impeachment of both Obama and Crazy Uncle Joe? After all, they are complicit in their crimes.

Getting elected and taking the Senate isn't enough.

First build a case that most of the public is going to understand.

We don't want another Clinton/Lewinsky repeat.

There should be hearings first on election honesty and manipulation. Build a case. Once the Democrats have been exposed as corrupt, then impeachment of Obama himself becomes much easier and natural.

Rushing to impeach without doing a thorough investigation of the entire Democratic party is a mistake.

Nope. Conviction and removal requires 2/3 of the Senate. I doubt it is even mathematically possible for the GOP to control 2/3 of the seats after the next election.

Which leaves aside the fact that it is doubtful whether even 2/3 of the GOP senators would vote for conviction.

Not to get off topic, but I see that the Judge is still making appearances on Fox News.

However

I never see any more appearances on Fox News by Michelle Malkin. Anyone know why that is?

I think we had both houses of Congress when Clinton was impeached by the House and was not convicted by the Senate.

Obama by himself reminds me of the frustration we all had during the days of the Soviets. That regime seemed to be, like Obama seems now, to be completely invincible.

The Soviets were like a huge steamroller careening down a hill crushing everything in its way. But then, it came upon a Reagan and it could not go around him.

Today we have a compilation of everything that was the Soviets wrapped into one package called Obama. He seems unstoppable.

The only way to dismantle him is not through the actions of one person or a small group of people like the Congress. It will take the concerted effort of millions of Ronald Reagans.

Impeachment is a House function not Senate. Still won’t happen IMO. Even if the Senate doesn’t remove the House should do its duty and impeach the SOB.

Who should take the Senate? Republicans? Sorry, but that makes me giggle.

The party is so infested with liberals, it’s no longer distinguishable from the Democrats.

President Reagan is rolling over in his grave.

Clinton earned a Get Out of Impeachment Free pass for all future POTUSes.

Congress will NEVER EVER EVER EVER again have the guts to go there. Unless it is a Republican POTUS and a filibuster-proof Democrat Senate.

In the long run there will be a steep historical price to pay for the failure to bring Free Willy down.

He’s correct.

So, as a practical matter, if the Senate is dominated by unscrupulous members of the same party as the President, he can do whatever the heck he wants, just as he said to the French President the other day.

IOW, the rules are different, depending on which party it is that dominates the Senate. Republicans were willing to convict Nixon, but the Rats will never vote to convict one of their own, as they proved with Clinton. And some people say there’s no difference between the parties.

On a policy level, there isn’t much difference between the GOPe and the Rats these days, but on a moral level they are as different as night and day.

The problem with impeaching Obama is that the lawmakers who have the constitutional authority to impeach Obama need to be impeached themselves.

Remember in November.

"Another problem is the current makeup of the Senate. Even if Obama were impeached by the House, a Senate controlled by Democrats would never vote to convict or remove him from office."

If impeachment proceedings were started now, they can be still under investigation thru Jan 2015, and likely a more favorable Senate.

There was another such moment....... it was the Robespierre moment in 1794. The leader of the Committee Public Safety went before his Convention and was shouted down. There were cries for his arrest.

He fled. He shot himself but didn’t die. A few hours later his near dead body was placed on the guillotine to do it properly.

Will NEVER happen.

The GOP-e is at war with Conservatives, not with Obama.

The GOP itself will not contend with or withstand the firestorm of outrage from the media and the Left. Charges of Racism and every other demagogic tactic will frighten the Republican Party into apologizing and surrendering for their ‘extremist’ members daring to politically attack a black president.

Boehner will NEVER allow charges to come to the floor, Reid, McConnell, McCain and the host of the Politburo rubber stamps for Obama will NEVER, EVER convict.

It’s a political IMPOSSIBILITY. That’s the reality.

History teaches that no dictator or tyrant is ever able to be constrained or prohibited by ‘civil laws’. They ignore and rewrite the law to suit their rule.

There is only one way that a dictator and tyrant is removed from power.

But no one is willing to allow their minds to go there. So instead - we will suffer a tighter and tighter iron fist towards subjugation and eventual eradication.

Humiliate the Senate, shame them into doing their duty. Of course this requires the House to make the case, something which Boehner will not allow.
