Breitbart News launched two new verticals on Sunday—"Breitbart London" and "Breitbart Texas"—that are the first steps in a multi-year expansion effort that will bridge the gap between global and regional news at a time when the rise of anti-establishment forces in politics and new media are threatening the old political and media order.

James Delingpole, formerly of the Daily Telegraph, and Raheem Kassam, from TrendingCentral.com, will lead Breitbart London, which will have a staff of 10 with 100 contributors already lined up to grow the site. Breitbart's Brandon Darby will lead Breitbart Texas with a team of contributors that will cover immigration, crony capitalism, education, business, and the the impact the Tea Party is having in Texas politics.

Good on Breitbart. Expand as your foes retract. Strike and advance.

The American media is every bit as healthy as it always has been —with just one catch:

IT IS CHANGING HANDS.

Hey, KEEP IT UP, MSM...!!!

I have thought for a long time that what is TRULY needed is conservative outreach and viewpoints on a LOCAL LEVEL...people who keep LOCAL news media and politicians on notice that they are being watched.

Consider: every liberal politician and fake journalist that enjoys a national stage today STARTED in a local market...or at least most of them did. A few, like Tim Russert’s kid, or Anderson Cooper the son of Gloria Vanderbilt, got relatively easy skids to the networks. Kennedy kids got special cut outs and attention for national office immediately...(the Bush family seems to be somewhat of an exception, as their kids were ALLOWED to fail and had to find their way about. Even Mitt Romney had to work his way into wealth, and didn’t take money from his very rich father.)

Anyway, keeping an eye on the LOCAL news and political scenes is important.
