When the Mann lawsuit started, there was a lot of conservative bluster about how much fun could be had during discovery. The blusterers seemed to presume that Steyn would receive a fair trial. Ask Scooter Libby about how fair the D.C. courts are to prominent conservatives in political show trials.

Not so sure that’s correct. If you have a compliant judge, he will order documents to be produced under a protective order that prevents Steyn from making them public.
