Obama: ‘Whenever I can take steps without legislation,’ I will
Washington Times ^ | 2/08/14 | Dave Boyer

President Obama said Saturday that he’s doing everything he can to reduce income inequality in America.

In his weekly address, Mr. Obama said too many Americans haven’t seen increases in their wages, while the wealthy “are doing better than ever.”

“We’ve got to reverse those trends,” Mr. Obama said. “We’ve got to build an economy that works for everyone, not just a fortunate few.”

Toward his goal, the president noted that he’s taken steps through executive action in recent weeks to boost job training, to guarantee every child has access to quality education, and to boost income and retirement savings.

Income inequality, like social justice, is right out of Karl Marx.

My salaried wages were the same for the past 5 years. According to our masters in the fedguv, that’s a “cut”. Then I did something about it. On my own. And I ended up with a 35% increase. Oh, but I have to work more hours. I guess that probably doesn’t count in the liberal mind. Blow it out your pooper Hussein.

He will “solve” income inequality by making us all poor. The only difference is that some people will still be expected to work. Of course, a different set of rules will apply to the elite. Like him.

Once, again, he's come to save the day.

to reduce “income inequality” ... a MOST questionable goal in the first place....

get the H out of the way and let American business get back on its feet... start hiring again... and let the American people have work, jobs again.

But no... despite all this political rhetoric, almost every single action, policy, decision, diktat from the administration these past few years has depressed the economy, shut down businesses, discouraged investment, and thrown millions of Americans out of work.

whatever he SAYS, he does the exact opposite....
so... once again, alas, we are in for more Deep DooDoo if he is going to screw around more with the economy (Lord help us all!)

And that happened under whose watch?

Yes he is, and no one will do anything about it, not now, not ever. We need to get used to it. The Pubbies do not have the stones for it.

The states have never delegated to the feds, via the Constitution, the specific power to address income inequality, income inequality uniquely a state power issue. So Obama has “no choice” other than to bypass Congress with constitutionally indefensible executive orders if he wants to use income inequality to win votes for Democrats from low-information voters. /sarc

Obozo is the main reason for plunging income and disappearing jobs and he gets to act as if it is a problem only he can solve. What damned ass could possibly believe this fool?

Particularly wealthy people who didn't earn a dime, have never held a job, and have had everything handed to them. What is his solution? Raising my income taxes, despite my being in the lower half of incomes for my region. Once again, the demagogue Obama is a liar, as are his partisan media shills. Thanks Libloather.
