Why is Hannity Fixated with Losers?
27 January, 2014 | Self

Posted on 01/27/2014 2:18:49 PM PST by Howie66

Sean Hannity constantly reminds us that he is a Conservative and NOT a Republican. I get that. I consider myself to be a hard core Constitutional Conservative as well.

What I fail to understand is how Sean Hannity keeps bring people like KARL ROVE and MITT ROMNEY on his show to talk about the issues of the day.

Neither one of these gentlemen have an ounce of credibility as Conservatives as far as I can tell.

Anybody else have some serious thoughts on this?

IMO, Jamie Dupree is a Democrat shill. I am sick of that guy. Bob

Nailed it! Sean has no capacity to get beyond the first
level of any argument. His incessant lists are mind
numbing. Purely superficial and an embarrasment
to conservatism. Other than that he is fine.....

For awhile we were getting Geraldo after Boortz retired, then Rush, then Sean then Mark Levin. I don’t recall who they put in Geraldo’s spot . . . and now Savage. Not a lot of choice. For most of the month of December I listened to Trans Siberian or Mannheim . . . for a welcome break. :)

SOMEONE had to win. Rove ran decent, not great campaigns for W, but lately the guy has been a disaster. And, he allowed W to become a Democrat punching bag. He is nothing but a progressive, and he can no longer hide it. Bob

Fox is GOPe. They are not covering stories that involve harm to TEA Partiers. Rush was talking about one today. (Brain pop going on, so don’t ask. Beginning of the last hour.)

First of all a horse can claim to be a fish, that doesn’t make it so. Sean is not a conservative, just look at some of his positions on issues and his guests. He has these two leftist republicans on his because he agrees with them and wants to get their message out to the masses.

I also no longer listen to or watch Sean, he is at best a moderate, as are his guests.

Head scratcher; when we figure it out, we’ll know also why Paul endorsed McConnell...

For the same reason Santorum endorsed Arlen "turncoat" Specter. Someone convinced him it was good for the State's Republican party. Showed unity.....and all that crap!

If Santorum would have stuck to his "Conservative" guns.....Toomey would probably have defeated Specter and "Arlen" would not have been able to switch parties again.

Knowing Paul..........I'm surprised he bought into it. His dad would have told them all to take a hike.

I agree on his wanting to be liked. I think Hannity still marvels at how he, a onetime construction worker from Long Island, has become a media star. Perhaps he’s afraid of losing his status and the accompanying perks if he becomes too hard-edged for the conservative insiders’ club.

Philosophically he’s one of us (though the jury’s out on immigration). And I think he’s a genuinely nice guy. Plus, as oldenuff2no wrote, he’s certainly a success. For me, that disqualifies him for a dunce cap. If nothing else he’s entry-level conservatism for millions of potential allies in low info precincts.

I think what irritates most of us about Hannity and others pitching for our bullpen is their collegiality with progs. If lefty pinheads get their way, America, as a force for human good, disappears. An arsonist may be convinced he’s the catalyst for urban renewal. But good intentions are not a basis for respect.

Regarding Rove: When your guy is facing two stiffs like Gore and Kerry and barely ekes out wins, I don’t see what there is to brag about.

Who should he have on?

I like Ted and Jesus.

Just pushing the discussion here because when it comes right down to it, we have very few that represent us and then there are others who would have to survive a crucifixion to be acceptable.

All I can say is every time Savage uses the name “Wallbanger” as a derogatory cut down of Hannity’s former job as a General Contractor... I lose more respect for Micheal. Enough already.

Perhaps when I heard him say it in his own words, when I was still listening to him that "he would consider running for office sometime in the future". That kind of comment is as telling as a dog whining and scratching at the door that it has got "to go".............

I am not a Hannity fan, so his admirers will disagree with me. But I don't think the guy has had an original philosophical or political thought in his life. He's a popular follower of the likes of Limbaugh and Levin.

He likes being near the rich and powerful. How many times has Rangel been on his show in a shower of compliments and respect?
